Per their request, I sent this location an email instead of writing a review if I felt like my experience was less than 5 stars. It's been 2 weeks now & I haven't heard a word from them. Anyway, because I'd visited this location numerous times in the past, I thought it could be a great way to have a birthday gathering there with my cousins. I spent $280 total for us to paint, plus drinks & food for everyone. After bringing everything in I was told that we could no longer bring drinks in of any kind as it could be a problem for their liquor license (even juice & soda). It would have been nice to know that in advance & not be told how we could still enjoy ourselves by spending more money purchasing drinks from them. Also, the instructor's primary focus was on making sure that her painting turned out well. She had to be asked numerous times to please turn her painting slightly so that we could see what she was doing as she constantly kept turning away from us. The television that is meant to be used to help you follow along was being blocked by snowflake decorations that hung from the ceiling. Ultimately after asking for help various times, we kept being told not to worry because we were doing great & the paintings would turn out fine in the end. We all simply ended up looking on to other customers paintings in the hopes of having something worth taking home. Sadly, we left agreeing that this was our worst painting experience from any establishment. That particular painting was number 6 for me(from this location) & it wasn't worth my time or my money. The experience did not make for a great birthday outing & their failure to respond to my email leads me to believe that they have no real interest in how you view them unless your views...
Read moreI took my daughter for her 8th birthday - just some "Mommy and Daughter" time- and the staff were EXTRAORDINARY! ❤️ Candece was our instructor, and she was so funny, nice, and thoughtful! She did an incredible job teaching us what to do and being sure we were all following along. She would slow down her pace when needed, and even "break" to help those in need. I never felt rushed, and that's pretty difficult with my daughter! Another team member I'd like to mention is Amber. She was both the bartender and another instructor. She helped my daughter several times, and was really incredible! She spoke to her on her level and just radiated kindness. My daughter immediately felt comfortable around her and kept talking to her. Amber made my time there so much less stressful and much more enjoyable because of her kind heart and willingness to help with my daughter. The other staff members present were just as wonderful as Amber and Candece- I believe their names were Aimee, Aiden, and Emily. They each helped both me and my daughter with different things, and each of them complimented her artwork many times! My daughter had an absolutely terrific time, and I am so grateful for all these ladies and their hard work that made that happen! We had to drive almost an hour to come, but we will absolutely be back! Thank you ladies all SO MUCH for helping us make...
Read moreI appreciated the opportunity to book my birthday event for my family and friends to enjoy painting Saturday. Many had never been to painting with a twist before so I was excited to do what I love with them. Unfortunately for me, the experience was not what I’m used to from the quality of service to the interaction from the artist. Everything felt rushed, the artist was rushing through instructions and his way of communication with my guests was very displeasing. Many shade comments were being made and overheard. I was completely thrown off by everything and didn’t enjoy myself. I know we started about 15 -20 mins after the hour but I’ve been to some sessions, even with late starts the artist took time and gave step by step instructions. Having my family and friends chatting about the dislikes about the way things were going but I’m glad they were able to just paint how they visioned their paintings and still try to enjoy and tone out the negativity. Unfortunately for me, I only painted my background and was just not in the birthday mood to enjoy painting...
