This is a long over due review. We went for our first puppy visit about a month ago. I am a first time mom, who is very big on research, asking tons of questions, worry wart, and proud helicopter mom. We had a vet prior to this visit, but it didn’t feel 100 percent like a great fit for both of us. So I trusted my gut, found metrovet, read reviews and decided to take a chance!! My goal is to have a vet for my boy that feels good for both of us big picture, a vet and staff that is knowledgeable to provide me with the information needed to keep my puppy healthy/happy/living his best and longest life with me, friendly, empathetic, animal lovers, understands and supports the way I want to raise my puppy, has a great balance between a natural/non aggressive approach and proactive/medical approach, among other things. On top of this (I know the list is long but my puppy is my world), I wanted the clinic to FEEL GOOD! The clinic is amazing!! My experience on our visit met all of this! Checked all the boxes! Not to mention Dr Williams got down on the floor and really bonded with my Winston and that meant a lot to me, still does!! And I have to say since then when I’ve had questions or concerns, Dr. Williams has been incredible with his detailed responses! I appreciate my experience there so far and I look forward to many many years of exceptional healthcare from MetroVet! Thank you so much!!

Read moreIf you’re a first time dog owner who find yourself overwhelmed because your fur baby is sick. This place is for you, they not only have the expertise to care for your dog, but the compassion to support you in the process. Me and Juju needed them to be all of what they were today. From the moment we walked in the door, the place was beautiful and you were greeted with a smile, offered a drink and was put in your room. The doctor came in next with his team. The doctor sat on the floor (which I loved), and actively listened to everything I said. How do I know? He repeated everything I said back to me. As a nurse, I know sometimes the biggest discoveries are in the smallest details, he listened for them. I was included in the plan of care, as we talked about options for my baby. While he was focusing on us, one team member was taking notes and getting needed information, and one team member was there to assist. All of their presence was needed for me that day. I said thanks to the doctor and he immediately recognized his team too. I asked for needed paperwork for my insurance company, and before I made it home, I was sent the email. If this helps you make a decision, I am locked into a program with my previous vet until Feb, I will stay in the program to keep my year commitment but will not be using them. This is the place for Juju. i am happy I found this...
Read moreMy little dachshund is my world, and finding a new vet when I moved here a few years ago was terrifying considering how much my dog hates going - A, and - B, many of the vets I've seen in the past don't seem to care and do everything to upcharge your bill. I'm so glad I went to Metrovet. The office is laid out so nicely for the dogs with Port windows and open sightlines. The staff greeted my dog by name when I walked in the FIRST time?!
I've been going for regular checkups ever since then and every experience has been just as good. This was the first time I've taken my dog in for an issue (my girl is getting pretty old and starting to have back issues). Dr Goyda, along with the two other staffers really impressed me with the help they provided, and then handed me a bill that seemed more than reasonable.
I was near tears through the whole experience. I was so worried for my girl and also fully expecting to have to go into some serious credit card debt to help her. I walked out feeling relief at knowing what was going on, having a plan of action, carrying multiple meds they sent me home with, and I was able to afford it.
Metrovet is amazing! I love this place, I love the people, and I cannot...
