The worst experience EVER!! Let me start by saying The Cheesecake Factory is 1 of my favorite restaurants. I don't know what in the *ell happened with this visit, but I hope I never experience anything like it again. We waited an hour to be seated in a restaurant that WASN'T crowded by Cheesecake Factory's standards, an unprofessional rude server & an additional hour for our food.
Our server, Bree A, was rude, nasty, neglected to provide refills on the drinks especially my sister's water, after being asked nicely twice. She neglected to introduce herself when we sat down. Everyone around (other tables) us received their food, despite arriving after us; some people ate & left, while we were STILL waiting for our food; by this time, it had been an hour🤔.
We ordered fried Mac n cheese as our appetizer, chicken marsala, a burrito & nachos. We had to ask for more bread, drink refills, removal off the dirty bread plates, after seeing other's table being cleared prior to their meal arrived. Sadly, this request was met with Bree turning up her nose, great displeasure & a snarl🙄. Being that there was limited space on the table, we didn't feel this was an unreasonable request (1 we didn't feel like we should have to ask).
After asking how much longer it will be before we get our food, Bree apologized & offered each of us A SLICE of cheesecake as compensation for the inconvenience, which we accepted. However, when it was time for desert, Bree modified her compensatory offer by changing it to THREE (3) ADULT SIZED ladies to share 1 piece of cheesecake 🍰🙄. YES,...I said SHARE! When we politely declined because this was not what was promised, she sarcastically said, " You guys really didn't expect me to give each of you a slice of cheesecake, did you" as she snickered. At this point, we had enough, asked for the manager & received 3 slices of complimentary cheesecake.
When our food came out, only 2 of the 3 plates came out. We were finished with our meal before the burrito plate came out.
I've eaten at Cheesecake Factory's all over the map. They are usually like Chick Fil A in the since that they taste the same & service is always consistent. Unfortunately, this was not the case with this one😲😬🤯😠🤬. For the record, not 1 of the ladies in our group got nasty, raised their voices nor treated her disrespectfully. I hope your dining experience is much better than ours. If you happen to get Bree A as your server, either ask for another server or be prepared I hope, in her defense, this was an off day for her & was an exception not her rule. As for the food, it never disappoints. I highly recommend the fried Mac and cheese balls, fried calamari, chicken marsala, Jamaican chicken & shrimp, turtle cheesecake, red velvet cheesecake & the raspberry white...
Read moreWe were so excited to bring my sons girlfriend here and show her how awesome The cheescake factory is. We haven't been to a cheesecake factory in many, many years and the last one was in Reno , NV. We went to The one in St. Louis last night Oct 11th 2024 around 9pm. We ordered almost $200 in food. First was Crab wontons. The crab wonton had bad crab and when we told the waitress the crab was bad. It tasted like nasty fish and smelled bad she got pissed. She tried to tell me the crab was fresh from the morning and it's now 9pm. I know what bad crab taste like and anyone can Google what it means when crab smells and taste like fish. It's bad, spoiled crab. They could have left it out to long. It could have gotten warm during shipping. Many thing could have made this crab bad but this waitress was mad at us for telling her. She tried to make me believe because crab comes from the ocean it's normal to taste like fish. Wow she wanted us to get sick I guess. She clearly doesn't know anything about crab . We switched out the Crab wontons for nachos as an appetizer and when we got the nachos the chicken was straight out the fridge cold. Now I'm thinking my family is going to get sick from cold chicken but rather then deal with the waitress getting mad at us and thinking we're just wanting to complain, we all ate it. Chicken should be 165° and this meat felt like it just came out of the fridge. It wasnt room temp and it wasnt warm or hot. It was physically cold . While we were eating my son who was drinking sprite noticed his sprite had black stuff floating in his drink. Tons of black things. The other 3 of us had 2 root beers and 1 Dr pepper. We shined a light in the cups and stirred the soda around and black stuff was floating in ours also. Which tells me they don't clean there soda machines. We didn't want to make a big deal about that either so we didn't say anything. I got up to use the restroom and started to slip all over the floor. My feet couldnt grip the floor. I'm wearing tennis shoes. I look down and the floor is so dirty it has a greasy film over the whole thing. It was nasty. Slippery as hell.
Now we're home and my son and his girlfriend feel like throwing up and there stomachs hurt. I don't know of its from the bad crab, the cold chicken or the black stuff floating in our drinks.
We didn't complain because the waitress had such a bad attitude for telling her the crab was bad.
It's really a let down when we were all dying to eat from the cheesecake factory again after so many years and to share how amazing it is with my sons girlfriend and in the end it wasn't a good experience at all.
Now we may have...

We had a party of 11 and called ahead for the wait time and although it took several times being placed on hold to get an answer, we were very happy that they said they could accommodate us all in the same area. My expectations were quite high even though my breakfast dine-in experience was not so great. Perhaps, I should have known that things were not going to go so great when my daughter advised that there was no tissue in the stall and where the tissue should have been there was a big hole to where you can see the other patron in the stall. Easy solution, however, I'm concerned that the bathrooms aren't being checked. We were seated within 15 minutes and the waitress was very friendly and organized. The appetizers and drinks came out quickly and definitely met the standards that I had expected. My all-time favorite is the Crusted Chicken Romano and it was prepared with perfection. Didn't get to the dessert which is usually the reason to choose The Cheesecake Factory. Because when a ROACH slides in to dine with you, things are no longer appetizing as you expected it to be. I got our waitress attention and advised her that she needs to bring this to the management attention. She thanked me for being professional and not causing a scene. We advised that we were finished and would need the check. Although I seen a manger speak with other customers about their experiences, at no time did a manager come to our table to address the issue. I advised the waitress that this would be a part of the review because when a ROACH shows up at The Cheesecake Factory, it's time to do better especially in the post-pandemic era in which cleanliness should be top priority. The ROACH seem quite at home as well as the staff included given their lack of response. I couldn't even think about getting dessert because of the thought of the conditions of the kitchen. The least that could have been offered is some concern and a Happy Birthday. Left there with no Dessert...
