On January 17th, 2025, these are the facts as of this completely raw and unbiased review. Overall, it was “okay” and that term is used loosely. So, when we (my wife and I) originally booked we were told one price. In addition we were told to have the head count RSV a week before the party. The first set of issues began here. NO ONE, at this establishment contacted us to very the information stated. I had to call and confirm the booking reservation. Okay be that as it may. Second, we went in the day prior to pay off the remaining balance and get everything taken care off. This experience left me with a headache literally. Let me elaborate. So, we encounter the manager who I believed was Ryan and Kaylie. We started off by trying to get the information correct. Long story short I understand that the staff has to put the information into their system a certain way. Okay got it. But if you (the establishment and specifically Ryan) know what the customers are asking for, then input it into your system and use your “customer service” skills to make the experience a little better. We are literally brining our business to your establishment, but treating customers in condescending manner or having a “power trip” because you are in a position of authority is not okay. The third point. We kept going back and forth about simple numbers. However, because Ryan is the manager and has to put it in a certain way, he talks to customers just like the employees. Customers are not employees and you should not be speaking to them like they will understand the intricacies of that business. All I care about is hosting my kids party there because it appears to be a clean and friendly environment. Safety of the children is amazing. But, don’t talk to me like I work there and like I am supposed to understand the situation way you input the numbers into your system. That’s not my job and that is your job along with “customer service “ which I feel was failed to carry out. It was failed because you intentionally said it in a way to confuse and fluster the customer. In a sadistic way, it appeared he enjoyed our frustration by him smiling and really not offering a resolution. Also, he kept repeating how it should have been put into the system because he was still training. Again, training is a company issue and not the customer’s responsibility. The fourth point was absolutely ridiculous. So, for the decorations we had to have them there approximately 24 hours in advance. Mind you we only get 15 or 30 minutes to set up before the party beings at the time booked. I walked in on a Thursday at about 6:30 PM and was told I needed all the decorations there by 8:00 PM. Based on my observation, when I told him my wife still has to get some stuff and he looked at his watch and told me this. He said well it had to be here by 8:00 PM and stayed quiet afterwards. And again smiling because he could see the frustration on my face. I did not appreciate that one bit. Also, what is the point of actually getting the decoration there 24 hours in advance just to have approximately 15 to 30 minutes to decorate? Things and life happens so, a little flexibility would be much appreciated. It’s not like the parents are already stressed and have to deal with a lot as it is. This type of sadistic/condescending attitude this it just compounds the anxiety and does not want to make a customer come back. Let alone refer any one else to this place. This guy needs real training in customer service or be demoted to a regular employee so he can gain some insight. In conclusion, I will NEVER book a party here again because of the condescending attitude felt. In addition, those policies about decorating and kid to parents ratio is ridiculous. I can barely recommend it for general admission, but booking parties are not it. You might as well go to another establishment or do it at a park for the amount your pay. With that, this was my honest assessment of Kids Empire...
Read moreBrand new store so everything is clean with sturdy equipment. They have an only infant-toddler area. Next is the big kids/adult area. One of the good things is we can wear home socks without needing any grip socks. The area is spacious, and the playground is challenging and engaging to run around with your child. The indoor playground is colorful, have beautiful artworks on the walls, a disco dance room inside of a castle and a mini motorbike racetrack underneath the playground.
Cons: Lack of food selection. They only sell snacks and drinks. They don't have any meal size food which sucks when they are strict about not wanting anyone to bring food from the outside. Make sure to go in with a full stomach for lots of fun.
There are two giant slides in the big kids/adult area. Make sure to wear thick pants and long t-shirt when going down on the pink slide can cause skin burn. There is a small sign on how to properly get on the pink slide. I prefer to go down on my back, hands and arm cross against my chest and legs together. Make sure to hold on your little one too.
No ballpen in the big kids/adult area. :
Read moreVery unorganized place not enough communication via manager. I believe his name was Ryan he wore glasses the day o went was very wild there was 4 parties booked it was over crowded and these poor employees working their bottoms off to make these birthdays memorable. Jessah girl you're amazing thank you for your patience and you definitely can tell you have experience with kids, Jasmine you did great i saw you with the other party and bravo there was another girl there with a pink shirt and beautiful black curly hair not sure if her name was seline or elene bit she was going to town on top of everything cleaning and super helpful at the front desk there was a guy not sure his name but he was dressed as the Dino and bravo you did that. Now my only complaint was the rudeness and disrespectful attitude the manager had toward the females I was in line to get a snack and he was out in front on his laptop and jessah which was a host was asking him a question and he literally embarrassed her and belittled her in front of many customers she was trying to tell him something about another table complaining about ice and he was so mean told her like you're off the clock go away she tried again and he go ugly with her rolled his eyes and kept flinging his hands in the air so wrong for him to do that especially to a female she is so young and for a man to treat her that way in front of costumers is down right mean and wrong. Please replace him this is not the first time we have witnessed this attitude with him. I understand it gets hectic but just like his employees who were doing an amazing job at handling fast past crowds maybe he should get retrained by them because he clearly does not represent a manager at all. I will be coming back soon but hoping he's not there for I will walk out. Girls you Rocked it and my family thanks you for going...
