I had an extremely disappointing experience with this hotel. After booking a non-refundable room through hotels.com, a sudden wildfire led to road closures, making it impossible for me to reach the destination. I promptly contacted the hotel via the website to explain the situation and kindly asked if a refund was possible given the circumstances beyond my control. They responded assuring me that a refund would be issued, which was a great relief. I even called the next day to express my gratitude.

However, a few weeks passed without any refund appearing on my credit card statement. When I called the hotel again, I was met with rudeness from the manager called Melissa and a firm refusal to honor the promised refund. Seeking assistance, I reached out to hotels.com. Their customer service representative contacted the hotel on my behalf but was also treated poorly. Even after a customer service manager intervened, the manager kept being rude, the hotel remained uncooperative and insisted on sticking to the non-refundable policy, despite their earlier commitment to refund me.

This ordeal revealed a severe lack of professionalism and integrity. The hotel’s unwillingness to honor their word and the disrespectful treatment throughout the process were unacceptable.

I strongly advise others to be cautious when considering this hotel, as they may not uphold their commitments and could exploit unforeseen circumstances to their advantage. Who else knows what else could they have done for their financial benefit…

EDIT: It is the correct hotel… all management did to dismiss this review is reply “wrong hotel”. That shows how much they care about...

Stumbled across this place after eating at Blanca Tatanka restuarant that sits in front of this hotel. After traveling all day, I was exhausted, ate, decided to stay. I arrived June 3 and left June 7th. Luckily, my length of stay allowed me to truely get a sense of this hotel. Highly recommend!!! Located right on the famous Cody strip. Walking distance to many places. Rooms are VERY CLEAN, beautiful pictures throughout the hotel walls. quite, never had any problems with safety or noise. I requested first floor. Parking was shared with the restuarant. One night parking was tough due to restuarant being really busy. I was in/out during some days while other days I adventured out off Cody area. I had no issues with my room being disturbed. (Although I did put a do not disturb sign on door). Staff polite and really got to become familiar with the daytime staff. I felt TOTALLY SAFE traveling/staying hrre as a solo lady. easy check in/out. Ice maker, atm in hallway, washers/dryers located on 2nd floor, (they sell soap, fabric sheets too) There is no breakfast but there are a couple different places on the Cody mainstreet. That was no issue for me since I don't eat any hotel breakfasts. The price I paid was cheaper searching on google vs hotel price. If I every come back to this area again, this will once again be my place to choose for my central location hotel.

If I could give 0 starts, I would do it. I booked for one night and was not able to make it that night due to road closures caused by threatening wildfires. The manager Melissa told me I could get a refund, but after a month, I realized no refund was made. I called Melissa, and she was extremely rude, saying that she would not make any refund as I appeared on the system as a 'no show'. She denied any message and call I made to her and hung up on me. It looks like it's not the first time she does this, as I've seen lots of reviews about the same issue. Unbelievable! Update: they responded to this review saying I've been refunded, but its been almost a month, and no refund was ever made!
