Very poor service.the old lady who was taking of orders did not treat well as she was showing very rude faces and so mean which none of the restaurant people will behave to people coming to eat..just because we placed order and then cancelled within 20 seconds just the green tea..the old Grandma lady was yelling at me at her language and shouting at me as we just wanted to have Tom yum soup instead of tea and there is no reason to be rude to customers and we didn't feel like having lunch just because they prepared they should not compel us to eat as the old lady was telling just because they prepared I have to go with that order which doesn't make sense not even 20 seconds we cancelled it..she made us to wait for 10 minute's purposely before taking the order from and which she wasn't having good face to take order from us and then while we were waiting to get the final bill she never came to us and made us to wait for20 minutes again purposely and she neverapologized for her behaviour ...this is my worst experience I had in Cody.. this old lady should learn some respect for other humans otherwise if she shows this kind of attitude i would never recommend this restaurant...they shouldn't take it easy as customers are coming from other State.zerostar is only the rating I could give but there is no zero option.... Whether food is good or bad they should be friendly to customers and not like the old lady like dog barking at customers..this is my first time writing bad experience about...
Read moreCame on Sunday for lunch thinking this place wouldn't be that busy. Wrong. More popular that we believed. They only had a couple of tables available when we showed up, then more people were coming in. They had a sign up front that they were short staffed, so we knew to expect slow service.
We started off with edamame and pot stickers. Pot stickers were good, but the edamame was cold. When we usual get edamame, it's steamed, so this was the first time we've had it cold. It was still good though. Just different.
Drinks were served in these neat reusable cups with lids. Very cool. We kept them and we're using them in the RV.
Next up were sweet and sour chicken and chicken fried rice. You can't go wrong with chicken fried rice. It was good, however, the s&s chicken wasn't what we expected. It was fine that it was breaded (usually it's stir fried with no breading), but the sauce was similar to what you buy in a jar. There was no tang or sourness to the sauce. The dish was made with cabbage and broccoli. We usually see this dish prepared with onions, bell peppers, mini corn, and pineapple for the sweetness. Not impressed with the sauce.
Service wasn't as slow as we predicted. These ladies worked their tail off to get to every customer. If we visited Cody again, we would try them again, but maybe try...
Read moreMy father lives in Cody and recently got diagnosed with throat cancer. With difficulty to eat anything but broth, we reached out to every Asian restaurant in town, and this establishment was the only one willing to furnish my father with what he needed. He just got his broth not only reasonably priced but, nutritious and he loves it!!! This is more than service or food, this a neighbor, they support the community and help the sick and elderly! Being the only Asian restaurant in town willing to help I will always give only them my business. The food has always been top notch(I get the spicy chicken eggplant), and have frequented this restaurant since its opening. I used to deliver the food a few years back (same owner) with a local food delivery company. Having done so I have been in the kitchen and coolers many times and it was always clean and the chef/owner is the real deal!! No young white guys cooking your food in this place.(sorry if that’s not PC enough) Just a family of hard working Asian Americans that care and make some of the best dang Thai food you will find.
Thank you!!!! Thank you for giving my Father food he likes...
