HORRIBLE. Will never go there again. I've been wanting to try this place for their kolaches which are good. But to my suprise they had coffee. I asked the women behind the counter if she had a non dairy alternative as I'm dairy free for allergy purposes. She said yes they had oatmilk. Perfect. But whst does she do. Makes my coffee with half and half. Because within our 2 minute conversation she said she forgot I asked for dairy free.
The gentleman helping grabbing kolaches doesnt speak English. So when people were ordering kolaches they had to point to which ones they wanted.
A women asked a question about their kolaches, specifically a fruit one. She asked 2x and unfortunately he could only smile and nod. So she has no idea what she got.
I am all for people of all ethnicities having the dream for opening their shop but there was no control in the shop, clearly a lack of communication and they just need to slow down. When there is good food people will wait. Their kolaches are good. But need to change how their customer service...
Read moreHad high hopes but was extremely disappointed. Should've just gone to Shipley's. Their filled doughnuts are doughnuts sliced (pictured) with the filling just spread in between the bread and their kolaches were disappointing. Got the Philly cheesteak, didn't have enough filling and didn't have enough cheese. Got the sausage and cheese, tiny weird tasting sausage with not enough cheese that congealed very quickly. Got the doughnut holes and kroughnut holes, the kroughnut holes are nothing to write home about - the taste is the same as the doughnut holes, just differently shaped (less spherical) and darker. Taste of both types is the same as Shipley's. The gimmick that they're selling is that they're unique and gourmet, unique isn't always better or worth it. The bread of the kolaches isn't great and really needs to be eaten fresh, it just doesn't keep well (even after just 30ish minutes after purchase) and is texturally lacking, like it could be...
Read moreSo many unique menu items, so many choices to choose from! They had croissants, kolaches, donuts, and so many more pastries! I got the butter chicken kolache (for the second time), and im really impressed that the flavor is consistent across stores. For a butter chicken filling, it is not too spicy or heavy, with a subtle sweetness that complements the taste very well. My family also ordered the spicy sausage kolache, ham and cheese croissant, chicken spinach feta pastry, the cream cheese jalapeño kolache, and the kroscuit sandwich. We also ended up getting the kronut holes too, which were really good paired with the coffee. I really love walking into the store in the morning with the amount of friendliness we received from the staff. They also offered to warm up all of our kolaches and pastries! This is my second time at Karma Kolache, and it...
