Very disappointed the second time that I’ve come to this location and received cold food. When I took the chili bowl up to the counter, informed the only view the chili that they just gave me was cold in the bread bowl. She informed me that there was a microwave where I can heat the food up! There should have been no need for me to take food to microwave seen how I had just gotten the food from them should’ve come hot off the line !! Guess I’ll have to quit doing business here if I wanted to cold food, I would’ve gone to a fast food restaurant we’re just going home and opened up a canna chili and put it in the microwave. If I was gonna have to use the microwave to heat chilly up it should’ve been hot when you got it! Add to that match, flying around! Not what I wanted to after go through when I’m trying to take a break from work before I go back out to work!

DOMINIK LOCATION IS OVER THE TOP BEST IN SERVICE, QUALITY ATMOSPHERE AND FOOD! I have frequented all locations. DOMINIK location rules!! They put the most LOVE in everything they do! You can see it the the quality of how the food is prepared, served and smiles from all their employees. Bagels are one of my favorites. The chicken pecan salad is so fresh and flavorful and the Pizza is so decadent. All the sweet breads are great, and my favorite is pumpkin and zucchini. Sweet breads are so moist and delicious every single time!! You can’t make a mistake and oh, the Club Blue is phenomenal! They are so gracious and appreciative of my visit to this location and it shows 110% every single time! I will continue to drive to Dominik location for all my Blue Baker love! Thank you to all for always giving me the best high quality everything! Love ya’ll!

I've been here a couple other times for lunch but today I may have found my favorite sandwich here, the Turchino! It's basically a meaty pizza on a bun. It even oozes the grease like a pizza. So yeah, maybe not the healthiest little thing but it does pack some nice flavors. I also got the cookie of the month, which i'll dub thee Reese's Chip Cookie. Name says it all, it was very good because I already love Reese's. I've been some other times and wasn't too impressed with the bread bowl because it seems to be 70% bread, 30% soup. The soup is good just wish there was more. Everything else is quite good. They rock the sweets and offer free bread samples in line. Oh, and if you check in on Yelp, you get a free cookie! Wish all places did that!

I've loved Blue Baker for years, but service has steadily declined since shortly before the pandemic. Perhaps my largest qualm is that they no longer make/sell cupcakes, which were a beloved favorite of mine for years. I will mourn the loss of their sweet goodness for years to come. My second issue was my last visit. My most recent experience here was within the past week. I stopped here for lunch with my aunt and cousin. My aunt asked for a child-sized pizza (I don't know if it's the same size as the 10'' or if it's smaller, only that it's on the kid's menu). She was told by the employee that they can only make these for children 12 or younger. Ok? Who's to say we weren't ordering for a child (we weren't, but an odd thing to say on the part of the employee). My aunt also later asked at the register (because, of course, you order at one register and take your ticket to a SEPARATE register, since that's totally easy and logical and not confusing at all for new customers) if she could try to order that same small, child-sized pizza and was met with the same answer. My aunt eats very small portions due to her diet/lifestyle/stomach size. She's not trying to get away with a cheap deal. She just wanted a small pizza. There were no other options offered and both employees met us with snark when she asked. This isn't the first time employees have seemed disinterested or downright rude to myself or my family at this location, so although I wasn't exactly surprised, I was certainly disappointed. I feel that the food has only become greasier and that the prices no longer reflect the value of food a customer receives. In addition, daily specials are now only a few short options and still not worth the price. Unless they completely go backwards with their business model and change 1) their employee attitude, 2) absurd food policies, 3) some of their sweet options, and, most importantly, 4) their now-outrageous prices, I will not be spending my money...

1st time customer, and really enjoyed the food at this location. I ordered a build your own pizza and a build your own sandwich. After reviewing the menu, i placed my order, wasn't sure on what to do next (area for improvement here)... so I proceeded further along to the far end of the path, to another counter, and greeted by a friendly cashier, who instructed me on the next process. She took my ticket and told me that I could choose my drinks, chips and deserts (also informed me of their current special of Drink + Chips or Cookie). After getting my order, and devoured my meal (Split with friend) and talked about how great everything tasted, and how the sandwich could have been better if it were toasted so the cheese was melted. So after we completed our meal, I asked if that was even possible (another area of improvement) and they told me yes, that all I needed to do was ask. I also purchased 2 different brownies (Salted Caramel & Double Chocolate) and taste tested after our delicious meal. Both brownies were great, but I enjoyed the Salted Caramel better.. but you can't go wrong with either of those choices. I would definitely come back if I'm...

We all have those moments of "I'm hungry but I don't know what I want to eat!" Blue Baker is the solution! All you need is a menu in your hand and I promise you will find something that will make you go "oooh now THAT'S what I want!" Time and again, I have never been disappointed by anything- food, price, quality, service, atmosphere.

There always seems to be something new- a new food menu item, pastry, loaf of bread, cookie, or even improvements like a new POS system. The University Drive location is spacious and has plenty of seating. The casual environment is perfect for a quick bite. If you want to stay for a bit, enjoy a coffee with a pastry, and get some work done there are nice booths with outlets!

I have many memories as a student meeting classmates to work on a project over a meal, nursing a sore throat with some warm soup in a bread bowl, or buying some delicious day old loafs at half price to enjoy with friends!

Blue Baker is an Aggie Tradition rooted in excellence, it is no surprise this local business is Aggie-operated. Please stop by and enjoy a meal at Blue Baker if you are new to the area, you will not be...
