This was my husband’s and I’s first time visit, and we were amazed with everything! My husband scheduled a reservation, where he notated that we were celebrating our 6 year wedding anniversary. We loved that when we were seated to our table, they included a personal message related to what we were celebrating. It’s little touches that make the experience more memorable! Hajar was one of the main servers that helped us and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations along with any staff member that came to check on us. Very professional staff! Everything that we ate was beyond delicious and you can tell that they were all prepared with care. Even the complimentary herb bread was very delicious! We had the truffle fries and crab cake as an appetizer, both incredible and possibly the best we’ve had at any restaurant recently! My husband had the Wagyu Alla Bolognese With Tagliatelle, where the meat was very tender and the sauce was flavorful. The pasta is also all handmade and you can definitely tell! I had the Ōra King Salmon with a lemon butter sauce, roasted potatoes, asparagus, and carrots. Let me tell you, I’m not normally a fan of salmon, however, the way it was described sounded like I’d be missing out if I didn’t get it! And I’m so glad I tried it! The salmon had a perfect crisp and everything that was served with it was perfectly balanced. The only sad part of the meal was how stuffed we were and couldn’t finish our whole meal in one sitting. Even though we were very full, our server still made it a point to make the evening memorable for us and offered a complimentary tiramisu to help us celebrate our anniversary (very glad we managed to have at least SOME room for that dessert!)
Overall, this was a very memorable evening and even if this was a bit more than what we normally spend at a restaurant going out, it was WELL WORTH IT! We definitely will be going back and recommending this to...
Read moreAtmosphere: Upon entering you are greeted by the main staff but may take a bit to acknowledge them due to the amazing display of wine bottles around you, as well as the chandelier. The establishment can be seen with 3 different seating arrangement areas, which I believe the center one being the focal point, due to the intimate ambiance and beautiful chandeliers which are the focal point of the area. The music playing in the background is subtle enough to enjoy but not loud enough to disrupt any communication.
Service: Seeing that I went when it first opened (May 5th) there was some miscommunication with the menus, some missing the cocktail menu and one time was handed a brunch one. After that the service was impeccable, there were two waitresses who took care of us and would check on us throughout our meal. The moment we finished each of our meals, one of the waitresses would almost immediately take the plate away from our table and refill our water if need be.
Quality: My order consisted of an appetizer of the Arancini di Riso, full portion of both the Cacio e Pepe and the Pomodoro e Burrata. The Arancini di Riso was something unique and enjoyed the combination of the ingredients. The size was just the right amount to enjoy the flavor, but not too much to affect the subsequent entrees. The Cacio e Pepe had a great base sauce and enjoyed the lightness of the square spaghetti. The Pomodoro e Burrata was the one that made the evening, the pasta had so much flavor with the sauce and could see myself eating the full portion as a meal. The half portion would suffice those with a smaller appetite and could be complimented with an appetizer for a full meal.
Fili's Fav: Having this been only the first time being here, I would highly recommend the Pomodoro e Burrata if you want something extremely flavorful. Although I feel when I try the Spaghetti Lobster, that will be my favorite dish, but that will have to come at...
Read moreWent here with the wife for dinner for the first time. It was formally a Tex-Mex restaurant (a very good tex-mex restaurant). Looked at their menu options and pricing online before coming here so we knew what to expect price wise. We had reservations and were immediately greeted and seated into our booth. The wait staff and servers were all super friendly - 5 stars to them. The place looked really nice with really nice chandeliers in the middle of the room and ambience music playing in the background. They brought out bread and olive oil to start, which was nice but the olive oil was just plain. Both of us ordered the Summer Dinner (a 3-course meal package of Appetizer, Entre, and Dessert). This review is strictly from my experience and not my wife's. I started with the Wagyu Meatballs. They were slightly undercooked and slightly under seasoned. The bread that came with it was also slightly stale and tough to the bite. My entre was the Bolognese. It was delicious but it had chunks of short rib in it and the pasta did not seem fresh. As for the dessert, I ordered the Tiramisu to go as I was already full at this point. We had also ordered a couple of cocktails. At the end of the night our meal cost $150 (not including tip) for the 2 of us. Not too bad, but at this price point I don't think the flavor was there, so 3 stars. The food was good but for this price, I expect things like fresh pasta and fresh bread and fresh seasonings. Loved the atmosphere and staff, but for flavor I'd rather go to Luigi's or 1860. I would recommend coming here, but don't expect to be overwhelmed. I believe I will be coming back but will not get the Bolognese. My wife had the short rib and truffle potatoes and she liked her meal...
