Cheap place next to I-70. POSITIVES: The water pressure was excellent. Cheap NEGATIVES (in chronological order): Checked in at 7:30 PM and asked for extra coffee creamer so I'd have it in the morning. The clerk's response "it's in a cabinet somewhere in the breakfast room but you can look for some." After looking in the 13th cabinet in the dark room I found some. Went to the room. It was not very clean. In-room refrigerator was nasty. Turned down bedding (top sheet and a thin bedspread) to find stains on the sheets. Went back to lobby to request an extra blanket. The clerk was chatting on the phone and when she finally acknowledged me I made my request and was told there are no extra blankets in this hotel. Went back to the room to discover the coffee maker was missing the slide-in tray for grounds. Went back to the lobby where the clerk was STILL chatting on the phone. Never taking the phone away from her ear she inquired of my need. The clerk sent her minion to search for the replacement coffee tray. The clerk never stopped her giggling and chatting as she checked another traveler into the hotel. After a 25-30 minute wait in the lobby they found a replacement tray. I appreciated the assistant's tenacity in finding the replacement. After a long draining drive I looked forward to sleep. That eluded me. The hallway traffic was quite busy much of the night (as well as interstate traffic). And it sounded as if someone was constructing a 1,000 piece IKEA entertainment center in the room above my bed...all night long. The next morning's shower had wonderful water pressure (that's the positive). Looking forward to a little complementary breakfast before departure. I nuked the biscuit as per directions on the counter. Unfortunately, the powdered eggs and gravy were cold.

My reviews are rarely negative and I try to find the good in every situation. This was a tough one...except the water pressure....

When I went to check in there was a gentleman in front of me at the front desk who was inquiring about a room for the night, the front desk staff said she had several, and when he asked how much she said $199/night, but she would be willing to give it to him for $160. I had made a reservation previously for $299 a night, so needless to say I was a little upset. When I inquired if she could alter my rate to be the same as his, she said I had made the reservation online so there was nothing she could do, and then she said that was the last room she had available anyway, which not only wasn’t true, but I already had the my room reserved, so it was just an excuse, so just beware of pricing. I’m not sure I’ll go that route or stay there again, that a huge difference, and upset that the staff was unwilling to accommodate my request (I mean, wouldn’t you be too?!) and to not be willing to change it.

That being said, if you’re coming to Mizzou, it’s about 10 minutes from campus and the stadium. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are nice, I’ve stayed three times over the last year and every room I have stayed in had some small issues…light bulb out, hair dryer not working, blinds were broken, but it’s a good option, and I spend more time here with my kids than in my room, so I...

Sketchy parking lot, guy called me and confirmed my reservation but said it as “are you coming tonight or what?” I said yes and he acted confused and hung up, my friend then called him 30 minutes later and said we were running late but would be there at 12:30 Guy said no problem, then 10 minutes later my card gets charged its cancellation fee (whole room fee) but I kind of let it go and think they were just trying to charge me for the room early, get there and the guy is hacking up everyone and sniffing like he just went skiing ❄️ and he took my phone from me to look at the confirmation email and acted confused like I never had a reservation (same guy that was on the phone btw) he sneezes all over my phone and finally 10 minutes later he says somehow my reservation got cancelled on my end, girl what. Do not go here, you’ll be left with no room, or even worse you’ll get room here that’s way overpriced with a sketchy area, sketchy guys running it, and have your information spread out. He kept the paperwork of the guy who checked in in front of me just on the desk for everyone to see. Do not go here, especially if you’re a woman. Not safe, not clean AT ALL there was literal food gunk when you walk in the door, and...
