I and my family have Thanksgiving tradition of eating our Thanksgiving meal together and than we begin our holiday shopping we often begin with Target. We are excited shoppers, happy, and it’s a family affair. This is our fourth and last year of shopping at Target on Thanksgiving Day. The customer service is horrid, the workers treat customers like we are cattle told what to do, when and how. Last night was my worst experience ever - my daughter had left her wallet in the car and ask if we (3) of us could hold her basket while she ran to get her wallet, the Target employee directing the lines shouts out we are holding nothing tonight sorry - this was said with such disdain that I spoke up and said she only needs to get her wallet. The employee replied we are not holding it. I replied I’ll pay for it. I did pay my total bill $300 or more. I than heard the same employee tell other people the line they are in is a slow line go to the next lane. Buying a couple hundred dollars of merchandise was a problem- wow. Our cashier was very kind and seem to be apologizing for the manager in charge and her poor attitude. We went to Walmart, we were greeted with free coffee, maps, and many open cashier lanes. I spent $500 there. Target could get some customer service recommendations from Walmart on Thursday - Black...
Read moreThree Years. Three years is how long it took me to go from dreading a visit to Walmart to despising having to go to Target. So on my most recent visit to Target (midweek 2 pm) the single line was running about 10 groups deep. So you could say "Hey this is the safest way to maintain social distancing is to keep one single line and route people to the next open register". Fair enough BUT the bigger issue is in the fact that over the last 3 years, Walmart has been investing into self checkout stands that are able to keep up with the increasing amount of clientele. Target has not. As soon as I saw the long lines, I turned around and walked out. It's insane that the trends before the pandemic were already indicating that there would be an increase in demand yet Walmarts been the only one to adjust and now long lines at Target are the norm. In three short years the script has completely flipped Enough is enough. There are products at Target that I like but not enough to ever set foot in the store until Target is reasonably able to accommodate the...
Read moreI haven't shopped at this Target in many years. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I ordered some bins online from a sale, to be picked up in the store. When I got there, there was no direction for where their pickup location was and I am disabled and is difficult for me to just walk around the store looking for where I'm supposed to get my products from. I asked several customers because I couldn't find a service agent anywhere to help me and they told me it was back up front at the customer service desk which they were using as a cashier line, which had seven people in line. I was not about to wait behind seven people to pick up my items so I walked back up front where some employees were milling around and asked somebody where the pickup was. A lovely gentleman, James, offered to help me, otherwise I would never have found where the pickup location was. I still don't know where it is. The store seemed to be out of order and unkempt and difficult to maneuver. Very tight spaces and their cashier lines were very...
