While waiting to close on our house in Myrtle beach we are staying at this hotel. We have 2 children, 1 and 3 years old. These rooms are small for a family of 4 especially 2 young children. We have toys and books and lots of drinks and fruit. Yes, our room is messy we are basically moved in until our house is closed on. The manager told us we had to LEAVE because he did not want roaches because we have a couple bags that we picked up trash with and had tied up sitting on the counter. The room is messy not DIRTY. He then began to tell us we will not be getting a refund of our money we will get nothing back and are to leave immediately or the cops will be called. They took a video of our room and belongings and personal things while we were down stairs eating breakfast. In all my life, NEVER have I ever dealt with something like this. I’ve actually seen far more messy hotels and nobody batted an eye or complained. Instead of doing what hotels are supposed to do a take our trash and give us fresh towels they record our room. This place will invade your privacy, cause a scene in front of other guests, threaten cops on you with children. I would not recommend this place. The level of disrespect and racism shows.

Read moreI booked a reservation from Thursday Aug 14th- Aug 17th 2025. through Saturday— I submitted payment. The confirmation on the application,, showed correct dates.. 1 min later I get a confirmation with the same day of booking for 1 day,, Monday Aug 11th 2025, wasn’t even in SC. I called within one min of payment going through , especially since it was a technical issue,, figured it wouldn’t be an issue to switch to what my app showed I reserved and paid for, and it’s taken two days of fighting with Hilton,, and they refused to change the reservation. Offered to pay more to not lose the $250,, and absolutely refused. Paid for insurance on trip,, and again refused. I will never stay at another Hilton. This trip was to come help my mom and say goodbye to the man that raised me, my step father who was normal less than two months ago, a hard working 59 year old to being 80 lbs and on hospice for end of life care due to terminal lung and terminal bone cancer within a week, to say, they didn’t care. It took two hrs to get two different departments at the hotel to answer their phone,, poorly under staffed and extremely RUDE! Two days to get a manager to pick up the phone to speak to Expedia. Called that morning before driving 9 hours to see if we could move our days one over but still maintain same 4 nights total as wasn't sure I could make the trip without getting sick. They told me they would call me back. After having been 8 hours since I last got sick, we decided to start our road trip down and I hadn't heard back yet. While husband was driving, I checked in online only to discover our reservation was changed without a phone call. They moved the day back one but made it for 3 nights, not 4. I message immediately to have them move it back to original as they never called me back to confirm I definitely wanted to change it. They informed me my rates would go up. I told them to make it the same rate as original. It was their fault as they made the change without talking to me in person. I simply had called to see if it was possible in the event I got sick again. They refused to move it back to the original pricing I reserved it. They offered a measly $25 discount. The new price was a whole lot more! Never again will I use this location as they are not honest people and not communicative to customers. They are dishonest and incompetent.
