Subway — Restaurant in South Carolina

I have never such a bizzare experience at subway. I ordered a 6 inch steak and cheese. Rather than simply using the scoop that is already built for the portion size. She used the scoop AND proceed to weigh it. That's not the issue. She realized it wasn't enough and added some more. After adding some more, she realized it was too much and proceeded to remove a SINGLE piece of steak from the scale and tossed it back into the steak bucket. At what point does a company like subway decide to pinch pennies down the a singular piece of steak on a sandwich. I understand portion control. But, I'm spending $8 on a 6 inch sandwich. Let's not make it rocket science. I looked to my left and the guy beside me was blown away himself. I asked "So it's not just me right?" To which he replied "Definitely not. That's absurd."

I understand that $5 foot longs are a thing of the past. But, this seems over the top for a location that frequently has more business than they can even handle. Think of the time they'd save not weighing it and just making a...

Went here on Monday August 4th 2025 with my mom to grab a bite for dinner. This subway is down the road a piece from the food lion, where my mom and I were shopping prior. This was our first time in this subway location. This subway also has a drive through, but we decided to eat in. We walked in, and ordered our sandwiches with two polite pleasant ladies. I ordered a footlong with Italian Herbs and Cheese with Chicken Terraraki with provogne. Unfortunately forget what my mom ordered. The toppings i chose was lettuce, onion, black olives, and pickles. We also made one a combo and had some sour cream and onion chips with it. We also used a gift card, and paid via credit card. Maybe 20.00 for 2 footlongs and a combo, which isn't bad. The old guy with the goatie is completely incompetent. Every time I end up having to deal with him he messes up my order and he's super rude. And when I went in today I watched him put good tomatoes on my sandwich, pull them off, then put the wet mushy tomatoes on there. Then he put salt and pepper on my sandwich after I told him I didn't want it. And the last time I was here he put jalapenos on my nachos after I told him I didn't want any. The lady at the counter was lovely, she is always a pleasure to speak with, and she had him remake the sandwich. She deserves a raise but that other guy needs a pay cut or to be retrained and retaught proper customer service because I have never not had a bad experience dealing...
