At the Anchorage Inn Bed & Breakfast, time seemingly slows down to a tranquil pace, allowing for moments of pure relaxation and rejuvenation. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome by the amazing hosts. Their remarkable politeness and willingness to accommodate every need instantly made us feel at home. As great conversationalists, they enriched our stay with delightful chats that added a personal touch to the experience. The rooms were nothing short of splendid, exuding a charm that is both homely and luxurious. Their pristine condition and comfortable setup paved the way for a restful night's sleep, enveloped in the serenity that the inn so naturally offers. But the pièce de résistance had to be the picturesque views of the water, a mesmerizing spectacle that can be enjoyed from various spots around the inn. The cozy upstairs balcony offered an intimate setting to soak in the scenic vistas, whilst the expansive deck downstairs seemed favorite spot for several guests to sip morning coffee, with the gentle lull of the waters providing a soothing background symphony. Morning at the inn brought the pleasure of a delicious breakfast, a culinary delight that was both enjoyable and satisfying, setting a cheerful tone for the day ahead. Though our visit was brief, spanning just a day, the Anchorage Inn Bed & Breakfast has etched a beautiful memory in our hearts. The captivating views and the gracious hospitality have left an indelible mark, beckoning us to return. We are already looking forward to our next visit, to once again immerse ourselves in the beautiful moments that can only be experienced at this remarkable haven.

One of the nicest places this well-traveled person has ever stayed. Lovely in-period decor, gracious hosts and immaculate polished sparkle make this a perfect place for any reason — special romantic occasion or special treat worthy too. My husband and I were winding up a week-long bike tour with friends and wanted a relaxing, pleasant place to hang out for a couple of days. WoW. This bed&breakfast puts Coupville on the map for us! Excellent (!!!) restaurants and the iconic Coupville pier are a very short walk from the inn. I’m writing this while seated on my room’s balcony overlooking Penn Cove toward Mount Baker. What a view! And, don’t miss a visit to nearby Price Sculpture Garden!

The BEST bed and breakfast you could go to. I love whidbey island and coupeville it’s the most beautiful town and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I visit. Dave and Maggie were the sweetest hosts. We stayed in the crow’s next and I 10/10 recommend the room is super spacious and beautifully decorated. We had our own balcony and the view was so pretty. The breakfast…. Don’t even get me started. Amazing. The amount of complementary drinks and snacks.. I have not seen any other hotel/b&b like this. Don’t stay anywhere else in coupeville!

Our experience at The Anchorage Inn was outstanding. The hosts/owners, Maggie and Dave, are consummate providers of hospitality. Their warm welcome ushered us into the Inn and Coupeville. They are well informed about the town and all of Whidbey Island. Their suggestions and guidance led us to back roads, the sculpture forest, the nearby rhododendron garden, historical sites, excellent restaurants, introduced us to the neighboring arts communities, and enriched our boat tour to see the Orcas (a must do adventure). |Maggie prepared and served a sumptuous breakfast every morning, nourishing and delicious and creative, while Dave regaled us with some of the local lore. The fresh berries and fruit were exceptional, Maggie's entrees and homemade sweet breads were delicious and varied and locally sourced. We cannot say enough about their excellent hospitality and their knowledge of their town and the island.|Their historic inn is well-kept, updated, tech-friendly, and obviously one of the town's crown jewels. Our room, #1, was spacious, the views to the inland waterway were remarkable, the bed was comfortable, and the ambiance in the main rooms and in our bedroom was serene. Each room is graced by the beautiful original works of local artists. The inn is a short walking distance to the main street of Coupeville with many interesting stores, galleries, coffee shops, and ice cream store (don't miss this treat). The historic indigenous cafe at the end of the town wharf is a testament to the revitalizing of the First Nation residents and shops.|As "dog people" we thoroughly enjoyed Lilly, the inn's small, always smiling,...
