My neighbor told me about this brand new (2024 built) assisted living location when she moved her mom in. I immediately toured, put a deposit down, & moved my mom from a different facility into a bright, spacious, brand new studio apartment. For LESS monthly rent than her previous location!
They cater to independent living, assisted living, & memory care levels of need. Rent includes all electricity, food, drink (including FULL BAR!), activities, weekly laundry and room cleaning, wifi, & cable tv. The SUPER helpful maintenance tech Mario helps with tv hookups, temp controls, & really anything.

This is a fantastic choice for a monthly rent + care fee (if needed) financial model of assisted living. My mom would never have moved to assisted living had she needed to put down hundreds of thousands of dollars (the other financial model that exists). Her life has been very rich living here the past 5 months, & I have peace of mind knowing I can schedule all her doctors (general, dentist, optometrist, opthamologist, podiatrist) to see her right in her apartmenf. For all these reasons I...
Read moreI did not have a good experience with this place specifically their Memory Care unit for the following reasons.
I requested finger foods and non-dairy options for my mother to eat and was assured that it would be provided and it was not. She was given food she could not eat with her hands and dairy. The Resident Services Director told me she did not understand what finger foods meant and thought it was just cutting food up and eating with your hands.
Short staff, their resident to caregiver ratio was off and I experienced residence having to wait to use the bathroom or go to bed due to the caregivers helping other residence. The caregivers were tasked with caring for the residence, housekeeping, and ordering and bussing food. They may have since hired an activities director but one was not in place while my mother was there so the caregivers were also tasked with leading activities.
Poor communication to staff. They have you fill out several forms prior to move-in where they ask several question about your loved one including their likes, dislikes, diet, etc. None of that information was communicated to the caregivers.
My mother ended up in the hospital after living in this facility for less than a week. I went to visit her and was told by the Resident Services Director that she was “tired”. When I engaged my mother she was completely out of it, and could not stand. The caregivers told me they reported it yet when I ask the Resident Services Director why I wasn’t notified her response was “I figured you were coming today, I had a feeling”. Completely unacceptable! The paramedics were called and my mother was rushed to the ER and spent three days in the hospital with an infection plus sepsis. If I did not go to check on her she may no longer be here. Needless to say she did not return. Some of the care staff was good (the only reason I’m giving two stars), some were not. There was no sense of urgency, accountability, or responsibility in general from the Resident...
Read moreSo Cal Premium Healthcare recently had the pleasure of touring the brand new Westmont in Culver City, and I am beyond impressed! The facility is absolutely gorgeous, with state-of-the-art amenities and beautifully designed rooms that offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating a space that not only meets the needs of residents but also makes them feel truly at home.
Whether you’re looking for independent living, assisted living, or memory care, Westmont is a fantastic choice for our community. It’s evident that this facility is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and comfort for its residents. I highly recommend Westmont to anyone considering a new home for themselves or...
