I've been a faithful weekend BBQ customer ever since I found out about it and how was I repaid? Lady charged me $80 for 3 beef ribs. I didnt notice until i was on my street but I came right back. Lady pretended she didnt know and that it was an accident. Said it was supposed to be $27. First off, how did $27 ribs 'mistakenly' end up with you typing $80? They arent even similar digits. Secondly im not even sure how she came up with the $27 because I only got 3 ribs...she didnt re-weigh them. Thats damn near one rib per pound. She just said a number off the top of her head. And honestly the numbers have seemed off for awhile, and you can't actually see the scale when they weigh the BBQ, they just put it on the scale and start typing. But i had gotten so comfortable that this last time she didnt even tell me a price. I just tapped my card. I clearly had gotten TOO comfortable, I'll take the blame for that. And oh yeah, another guy in line said they once tried to charge him $60 mistakenly but the BBQ is so good he comes back. The BBQ is good but not good enough to tolerate being cheated. Support a local mom & pop minority biz and this is the thanks I get. Im not saying that because I want a pat on the back, I'm just saying there is a certain expectation of trust and honesty that you expect to get from these type of places but clearly I was wrong. I was casually driving to my grandpa’s house when I spotted a BBQ sign with smokers outside. Starving and craving something good, I decided to pull over—and I’m so glad I did.
