The reason I’m giving a 2 review rating is because my mother and I were treated horribly after the 3rd night during our stay. My elderly 88 year old mother and I stayed here because my home had a flood in the basement and my upstairs floors were being renovated as well. My mother wears a diaper and housekeeping came in our room the 4th day to clean. My mother wears a diaper and she peed thru her diaper and got it in their sheets and blanket. Obviously housekeeping couldn’t handle the smell so she complained to the GM. The third night I had been in their laundry room washing clothes all night long and the next morning when I woke up around 11am, I received a nasty message that the hotel was kicking us out because they couldn’t handle the smell of urine. I spoke to temporary housing and she told me the same and told me to call the front desk of the hotel so I did. These were the exact words the GM told me. We don’t allow guests in our hotel that can’t use the restroom on their own. I was exhausted and livid and she told us we had to leave. I told her I was going to sue the hotel and hung up on her. She had the audacity to call the police on me and lied to the police that I said we weren’t leaving. I never said that. The police officers were very kind to me and said the state of Georgia law said they had a right for any reason to make us leave. So embarrassing. Meanwhile I have lupus and it took me 3 hours to pack up all our things and load them in the car. I was in so much pain doing that all alone. I was hurrying to get out of there and left a brand new box of cat litter and my dogs expensive prescription dog food at $5.00 a can under the sink. After I realized I had forgotten it, i called and spoke to Shawna the manager of housekeeping and she told me they threw it out to have at and look in the dumpster. i was in disbelief with her unprofessionalism and behavior. Becca who works at the front desk was so kind and always treated my mother and I with kindness. I also noticed people had thrown cigarette butts and beer cans in the pots outside they use for decor and on the ground. i mentioned it to the girl working at the night shift and she just walked away and said she didn't want to have anything to do with that crazy. I will never stay in this place again ever. Sheets and blankets can be washed. Housekeeping was just too lazy. I want to commend the breakfast crew as well. A super nice and professional group of people. God forbid if you have a disabled elderly family member who wears a diaper, do not stay in this place. Temporary housing put us up in a much nicer place even though it was much further away and the hotel crew there were so caring regarding my mother. I ended up calling corporate at the Hilton and they reimbursed me foe the cat litter and dog food. Stay away from this place. If you look at other reviews, they will call the police on you!!!! My mother and I are not a threat to...
Read moreMy husband and I went to a wedding and stayed at this hotel on April 5th 2025. We were there a total of 2 hours and had to leave at 1am and make an hour drive home. At 11:30 at night there were kids above us playing basketball and running around. We were told they were all there for a basketball tournament in the area, so it was a lot of kids on our floor and the floor above us. We waited about an hour before my husband kindly went up there to ask if they would mind calming down a little. He quickly noticed a bunch of 10 year olds and teens unattended by adults and asked if they would mind calming down a little. The kids were very respectful, they gave high fives and that was it. My husband then went down to the lobby where all the parents were watching a game and let the parents aware that we had asked them to quiet down a little and the situation. My husband was nice and was not being rude ( we have 3 boys ourselves so we get kids are kids) one of the parents proceeded to get my in my husbands face yelling at him and when he put his hand up to keep the spit from going on his face at that point a female adult tried to say my husband was going to assault him because he raised his hand. The police were called and took the information. I even heard the manager tell the officer that “these people are just all watching a game and didn’t do anything wrong” Another bystander who witnessed the whole thing even stayed to tell officers that my husband did nothing wrong and was not disrespectful in anyway. We went back to our room before the officers left so I don’t know what was said to the other people involved. Not long after we got to our room, someone knocked on our door, we opened and realized it was some kids and 1 teenager who I assume were staying on our floor. The teenager apologized to us and we said thank you and for them to have a good night, which I recorded. About 15 mins later my husband tried to go down to his truck to get some of our items we left, the manager met us at the elevator on our floor to tell us that I needed to keep my husband in our room but the other people involved were allowed to stay in the lobby and finish their game. We even told him about the conversation we just had with the children and he said “do you have any proof of this?” I said yes sir and showed him the video and he replied with “well you can’t leave your room” At that point the other person involved showed up on our floor, had some words and left to his floor. The hotel manager standing right there did absolutely nothing. NOTHING. He sat at our elevator to “make sure there wasn’t anymore problems” on our floor! We immediately packed our stuff to leave and he asked “are you going home? Well drive safe” No apology, no reassurance, no nothing. $200 for a room we didn’t even get to stay in. The hotel itself was clean and nice but I have never felt so unsafe staying in a hotel. We feel the hotel manager was very...
Read moreSave your money and stay somewhere else. This hotel was by no means worth $160 per night. It is difficult to know where to begin to describe the problems we encountered during our recent visit to this hotel. Yes, there are positives: the location was right, and the fact that the hotel provides a great workout room is a selling point for busy, health-conscious guests. Having a kitchen in the suite was also convenient, but that is where the advantages stop. Firstly, this is a new hotel, but it is clear that it was shoddily constructed. The furniture in the room seems as if it were thrown together from boxes of flat-pack furniture from Ikea. The drawers don’t line up or close correctly. One of the lights only worked occasionally. The wallpaper was peeling in multiple places, and the shower door track is already falling apart. The color scheme is overly bright, glaring, and mismatched, causing the room to feel chaotic and not at all relaxing. The breakfast was not healthy or appealing. There were little omelets and biscuits with cheese on offer that looked as if they were picked up from a gas station. There were bread and bagels, but there were no true whole grain options. There was some bread with a sprinkling of whole wheat, but even that bread was mostly white. There were some waffles, and there was a vat of oatmeal that must have been there since the Clinton administration. There were a few bananas, so I took one, but underneath the bananas were dehydrated oranges and bruised, shrink-wrapped apples, none of which were appealing. There were a few junky cereals, but the best they could do was to offer a container of Corn Chex, which they decided to label “healthy,” which it certainly is not. There was some milk and containers of sugary yogurt, but absolutely no plant-based options in sight. I ended up going to Kroger to pick up some healthy cereal, but healthy options should have been provided in the hotel breakfast area, which is right next to the workout room. There was no way that I was going to be prepared to exercise for 45 minutes after eating the sad, non-nutritive food that was provided. There was no information provided in the room whatsoever. What time is checkout? We had no idea. There wasn’t even a Do Not Disturb sign in our room. The icing cake of this unpleasant stay happened when multiple dogs in a room below us barked non-stop for hours. I called the front desk, and the man who answered was pleasant and said that he would take care of the problem, but the barking continued into the following day. I have had far better experiences lately with Airbnb. There is a reason why options like Airbnb are gaining in popularity: Airbnb hosts actually care about their guests’ experiences. They work hard to make the stay enjoyable and give good value for money. I will never choose this hotel again. I feel...
