Never order to go from this restaurant EVER !!!
My wife is pregnant and she was craving for Hibachi food, so she called this restaurant and was put on hold for 10 mins, then she dropped the call and tried to call back but it was not reachable, I got a call from her while I was coming back home and she told me what happened, so I tried calling them but it was not working, sounded like it was busy, so I thought I will go to the restaurant directly and order there to go. It was already about half an hour past the time my wife called them, but I really wanted to get it for her since she was craving for it. I went to the restaurant and asked the girl at the reception that I want to order to go, she said she doesn't take orders, but the lady that takes orders will be here in a min, so I was waiting for this lady and told the girl about my wife and their phone... She said she doesn't know anything about the phone then she picked it up pressed some button and kept it back and said she will get the lady who will take my order. That lady came and she already had an order ready to be picked up so she asked whose order is this and it was another customer's who was standing next to me, so she processed the order and the customer took too long to pay, anyway... customer paid, that lady put the money back in the register and started walking back to the kitchen, didn't even ask me for my order, I started waving at her when she looked back and she kept going. I couldn't take it any more, I left angrily, the girl at the reception didn't even try to stop me, she understood how angry I was! So I went to Tim Drum restaurant which is behind ichiban right infront of AMC, its an Asian restaurant and very good for take out, its like an Asian fast food restaurant, and have good food too, if you go there try Kung Pao Chicken if you like spicy food.
I am a Forsyth county resident and me and my wife love Ichiban food, they have great food, but bad service! I will never go to this restaurant again, I will go to Ichiban at Windward Parkway, Alpharetta, I have met the owner of this restaurant at alpharetta couple of times, he is very nice person. BUT I WILL NEVER GO TO ICHIBAN AT THE COLLECTION AT FORSYTH...

So when I give low marks it has to be bad… Although I sat with my family, I am only reviewing based on my personal experience. I was there today 7/25 for my wives birthday lunch. We were seated quickly so that was a good start. Order taken quickly, so far so good. Time for entrees, everyone gets food except me because they got my order wrong. No worries sir, we will get it to you right away. I ask my wife and family not to wait for me of course because their food will get cold, they eat until they get full, I finally get my meal at the point when they are done. So at this point I just as for boxes for the table rather than get dessert or ask if they have a cake since the meal is already ruined. They bring us four boxes, as my wife is handing out boxes, what three of my family members swear was cockroach comes flying out of one of the boxes, lands between my daughter and wife and runs across the floor at full speed. So at this point I want nothing. To do with my food and just want my bill. We let the waiter know, who didn’t seem surprised, no apology, not suggestion of a discount or any comment like it’s an everyday occurrence or something in my humble opinion and just hands me the check. I pay and ask for a receipt. What else could possible go wrong right? I sit there like an idiot for a decent amount of time waiting while he walks around doing a bunch of unrelated stuff until I finally ask for my check again. “Didn’t I already give it to you?” Seriously… suffice to say… won’t be going there again… about $200for this birthday lunch…. Find a better...

Called for a reservation weeks in advance for New Years Eve, called to confirm-- lost the reservation but was told we could get one for 7:30. The whole party showed up by 7:30--waited until 8:15 to get seated. No big deal, it's New Years, I get it. Drinks ordered, 3 had to be sent back because they were not the drink ordered (and I never send things back, but one was a brown martini brought to me). Got our appetizers and soup. Some of the party notices dirty grease dripping from the hood onto the hibachi table (the cart of food had already been brought out). We asked to be moved to a different grill-they nicely abliged. 10 minutes later we were seated at another grill, served our salads. Instead of our food being put on the grill, our cart waited by the side while the other party at the adjoining table/grill had their food made. After about 20-30 minutes, our grill chef rolled our cart over. We requested new meat because it had been sitting on that cart at room temperature for 30 minutes+. The chef said it was fine, rolled the cart away. 10 minutes later, the manager came to our table and said we had to leave!!!!! What?! You are kicking us out?! 10 adults and 2 children at 9:45. He said they were out of steak. Well, then you have other food to feed us. y You are kicking us out and refusing to feed us because we asked for fresh meat (who wants food poisoning to start off the New Year?)! I have been here before for sushi and was pleased, but will admit that I have NEVER had this bad of service anywhere. I know we are one family, and this may not mean much to their business, but I cannot...
