This was my second visit to Cava, but this time I ordered takeout. Unfortunately, it was a complete nightmare.
Several customers, myself included, waited over 30 minutes past our promised pick-up times. Some folks even left empty-handed, never receiving their orders at all.
I had my heart set on a falafel pita, but after waiting for half an hour, I was told they were out of falafel. Disappointed, I requested a refund since nothing else appealed to me at that point.
Here's where things got truly frustrating. The staff, including a manager named Ariel who came across as incredibly rude and unprofessional, informed me they couldn't process a refund in-store. Apparently, I had to research the company's refund policy online (She said to Google it) – all on my own time after a disappointing wait. Mason, guest relations, came out to speak to me and he apologized for her behavior which unfortunately this is not the first time she has provided horrible service to a customer.
To add insult to injury, hygiene practices were appalling. The staff used the same pair of gloves for everything – handling food, taking payments, cleaning surfaces, and then going right back to touching customers' orders. This is not only disgusting but a major concern for people with food allergies like myself. Cross-contamination is a serious health hazard.
Needless to say, I won't be returning to this Cava location. The combination of long wait times, lack of customer service, and poor hygiene makes me question their ability to stay in business for long. If you're considering Cava takeout, I strongly recommend...
Read moreNothing could have prepared me for the had me feeling like I was bouta Alright let’s just say, throughout this whole day I felt like Doctor Strange after getting eternally clapped by a celestial deity. Dying over and over again, each time coming back stronger with greater knowledge on how to not die more I guess. But the moment I stepped inside, the scent of slow-roasted lamb hit me like a golf club to my left ankle, instantly cleansing me of my past sins and childhood regrets. Consuming the holy elixir labeled “garlic dressing”it felt like it was whispering sweet nothings directly into my brain stems. But just as I was reaching enlightenment, pure spiritual bliss, riding the high of a perfectly balanced bite, disaster struck. My bowl sat before me, vibrant and full of potential, yet incomplete, like my childhood dreams. A cold sweat formed on my supraorbital ridge. As I was clenching my mandible, I had realized that I was out of garlic dressing. Good thing this person named Emma gave me some more. And I reverted back to my elevated state consuming as much dressing as possible. By the time I left, I had ascended to a higher plane of existence, spiritually bonded with my food, and legally married to the 87 empty dressing containers I’m now in possession of.
My only complaint is when I was minding my own business downing my 17th garlic dressing cup, as one does, this child wouldn’t stop...
Read moreThe food was spectacular. I tried the glaze salmon today and it was amazing, the only thing about it was i was the last to try it, as they were somehow out of salmon at 6 PM when they close at 10. That is the only thing I have to say about the food otherwise it’s delicious. now as far as customer service, SAANVI was very very, very particularly rude. She constantly cut me off as I was ordering, which is beyond unprofessional. I thought maybe she was just being rude to me, but the several other customers behind me also got similar treatment. she also was rejoicing that they were out of salmon saying “it stinks”. she had an attitude and wasn’t very nice at all. I even saw her roll her eyes several times at customers waiting on pick up orders. On top of all of this, there were several customers in line almost to the door, and she was joking around with her friends in the back of the house, instead of servicing customers. she has a serious problem with cutting people off as they’re speaking. Don’t come to work if you’re gonna be rude because at the end of the day, it’s your job to provide excellent customer service. on the other side, SARAH! at the register was very very, very nice and respectful. I saw other customers being rude to SARAH and SARAH remained professional the entire time so 10 out of...
