I had a terrible experience at Tanishq Atlanta, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. Not only was the selection of jewelry underwhelming, but the real issue came when I tried to return an item. According to the invoice, Tanishq clearly states that they have a 30-day return and exchange policy, which is a pretty standard practice for jewelry stores.
However, when I attempted to return the item within the specified period, I was met with resistance from the staff. They seemed clueless about their own return policy, and after lengthy back-and-forth, they tried to deny my return, citing vague reasons that contradicted what was clearly mentioned on my invoice. It was beyond frustrating to deal with such poor customer service, especially when they don’t even follow their own written guidelines.
I was treated dismissively, and they did not honor the terms that were supposed to apply, which just felt dishonest. At this point, I can't trust a store that doesn’t stand behind its own policies, and I won’t be shopping here again. Very disappointing, especially for a brand...
Read moreThe WORST jewelry store ever. My fiancée bought me a diamond ring from Tanishq Atlanta, and within no time the GOLD around the diamond was full of scratches. For a so-called premium brand, the gold quality is absolutely pathetic — it looks cheap and wears out like roadside jewelry. This is what they call “luxury”?
When we went back to complain, the FRANCHISE OWNER herself had the audacity to say I “might have put it in a washer.” Then they doubled down with the most absurd excuse — that the ring should be “perfect when delivered,” so once it’s handed to you, they won’t honor warranty, won’t replace, won’t do anything. Basically, once they have your money, you’re on your own.
What shocks me most is how this place is sitting at a 4.8 rating with 481 reviews. That number does not reflect the reality. The truth is simple: overpriced jewelry, substandard gold quality, and disgraceful customer service.
Save your money, save your dignity — NEVER buy from...
Read moreIt was a pretty bad experience for me personally. Bought 2 bracelets in store for an occasion. One of them was priced 1.5x the actual price on the site. I didn’t even see it online, bought them because of the trust I had in TATA owned brand. A week later, I saw in the site that same bracelet was priced at $2500 with a 20% discount. Had to go back and forth for 3 weeks with reasoning stated as pricing error on the site etc. to finally they agreed it was an error on their side and agreed to refund $1500. In a world where processing refunds is a breeze m, have been asked to submit a void check. It’s been several weeks since I submitted the void check and I haven’t still received the refund. If you are shopping here check price online, comp shop but I recommend going to other stores in Atlanta for Jewellers shopping. FYI, I haven’t received refund yet. Still waiting to see it processed apparently using the info I submitted through my...
