First off, I felt unsafe and that my car might be vandalized. With the exception of checking out, I find the staff to be extraordinarily rude. Before you think I'm Karening, I came to check in at 2:15 (admittedly my fault for not knowing the time or that check in was at 3:00). After waiting about 5 minutes while two staff members argued in the back room, the woman came out and when I said I was there to check in, she angry-sarcastically asked "Did someone tell you to come in here because check in is at 3. Is it 3? No, it's not". When I asked if there was something close that I could do for 40 minutes she just said no. When I asked if there was a place nearby to eat she said no, but you can drive around to find something.||When I opened my room, the smell hit me like a physical blow. I wish I could photograph a smell!!! The last person must have been there a long, long time (in guessing many months) and chain smoked in it the entire time. My asthma was instantly flared (didn't have my inhaler with me, which made it worse). I immediately went back and said the room is so smoky and she said she knew and that's why I didn't get charged a deposit but there were no other rooms. I immediately went to buy cleaning supplies and air fresheners. I spent hours washing down all surfaces and walls and floor. It never really made a dent in m how bad the room reeked. I put several air fresheners on the air unit to help more. It didn't.||The room was filthy. Two of the three entry door locks were broken and the door jamb was broken, like someone had kicked the door in at one point. The outside of the refrigerator was beyond nasty. The back of the toilet didn't have the right lid. The mirror was not above the sink but to the side so you had to stand against the toilet to see yourself to get ready in the morning. The bathtub didn't hold water for a bath so I had to cut off part of a bread wrapper and hold it with my heel. The toilet paper holder was loose in the wall and the toilet paper fell off every time. The toilet paper roll was almost empty on my arrival (it had 9 squares left). I was there for 8 days and never once got new towels or wash cloth. One washcloth, one hand towel and one towel was all I ever had. They also never took the trash out. The groceries I put in the refrigerator on day one froze overnight, completely ruining two crispers full of salad, fruits and veggies.||The bed was like sleeping on a board. It was difficult to even get comfortable enough to fall asleep and I was in extreme pain every morning when I woke up. The pillows were comfortable, but that's it. I'm pretty sure the bedding came from the Dollar Store (if so, they over paid). There were no hangers in the closet at all. There's also no dresser, just two shelves. There was a full kitchenette but no toaster, stove, silverware, plates, bowls or glasses. I had to go buy them all for my 8 day stay. I think the pictures tell a better story of this nightmare. ||Btw, I travel a LOT and never stay at 5-star hotels. You can see that I rarely leave hotel reviews so that should tell you how awful this was. Something has to be truly horrendous for me to...
Read moreSTAY FAR AWAY!!!! This was the worst experience of my life & I’m 43 years old. We live in hotels right now because we lost our home when I lost my job due to the virus & my husband is fully disabled. After 1 week, it was very inconvenient for us to have to pack up & move to a different extended stay because the staff here would not resolve our issues or waited too long to do so. And now all of our perishables are ruined from sitting in a hot car because checkout time was 11 AM and I had to wait until 4 PM to check into another one. I contacted the property manager several times a day every day via text & phone calls to her personal cell phone. I was told by a neighbor that the previous tenants completely destroyed the room & it looked like that when we moved in. On day 1, I called the front desk to have them send someone over to clean & they waited too long so I cleaned it myself from top to bottom using a heavy duty bleach cleaner. It was disgusting & there were caked on food smears & dog food all over the kitchen, the dressers, cabinets, microwave & dresser drawers. The bathroom, dining table & floors were filthy so I don’t know what they cleaned before we arrived! When housekeeping finally arrived I pointed out how disgusting the cabinets were & she told me to use paper towels to line them! My husband had to fix the leaky toilet by wrapping a gummy worm inside of the shut off valve in order to seal it. Up until then we had to use our coffee pot to catch the water so it wouldn’t ruin the floors. The front desk staff said they put in an emergency maintenance request that evening but they never showed up. The fire alarm battery needed to be replaced since day one but they couldn’t find the special tool in order to take the cover off so the chirping woke us up several times every night & we would have to use a knife to push the reset button in order for it to quit for a little while. The outlets were broken & I had to cook on the floor until they finally fixed them. They didn’t have any lighting by the bed because the wall lamp was destroyed by the previous tenants & they said we would need to go out and buy one ourselves. There was basically no Internet because it was so slow, we constantly smelled marijuana & the TV was choppy until we secured the cords in the back. The bed was wobbly due to a bent frame & very uncomfortable so we woke up every morning with severe back pain. We will never stay here again & we think it’s ridiculous that the property manager didn’t offer us a free night or any...
Read moreTerrible, awful, dirty, disgusting place with unbelievably rude front desk staff. There are holes in the bedspread and curtains, no blanket and you can see lots of places where their "cleaning" staff doesn't bother with. Don't look under the bed no matter what you do! When I checked-in, there was no television remote, no alarm clock, and the drain stopper was missing from the bathroom. My room was located near the back of the office, which was super noisy all day every day. The staff leave out the back door and allow it to slam loudly with no regard for anyone who might be staying close by. God forbid you have a complaint you're treated like garbage. This place is cheap, but trust me, no matter what you pay it'll be too much.
Onto the most important part of this review; this place calls itself pet-friendly, but that doesn't apply to me since I checked-in with my service animal. This place doesn't know the first thing about the Federal civil rights law under the Americans with Disabilities Act. I was harassed by the "manager" about non-existent barking on day 2, which was followed by her verbal disapproval of excessive pet hair which had been reported by the "cleaning" lady. Now, let me remind you all, I'm a disabled person. They made zero attempt to offer additional cleaning, which only occurs on day 8 if you stay that long. My dog is a very large German Shepherd and news flash, they shed! The manager, who'd be lucky to work at 7-11, told me that if I couldn't keep the room clean that they would have to...wait for it...replace the carpet! It was all I could do to keep from laughing. When I checked out I made sure I cleaned the room myself, which includes vacuuming, the night before. I took pictures and video of the room because I had an idea they'd try to charge me for something ridiculous. So far nothing I've said has been exaggerated one bit. This all actually happened. As it turned out, I needed to stay at the same location about 10 days later and was refused a room because of "damages" to the room. I just about lost it right there in the lobby. Not only were they violating my civil rights under the ADA, but they were literally making up lies to keep my service dog off of their property. I emailed their corporate offices and received no reply, which seems fitting considering who I was dealing with. I'm quite certain the "manager" gave an entirely different story. This place is disgusting and unbelievably poorly run. ...
