Hi everyone! I just wanted to make sure that people that are thinking of moving to Gramercy on the Park is aware of my situation. FIRST, we loved it here, then the second week our AC breaks down.... the maintenance team would come in and repair it but this happened 8-12 times over the first 8 months of living here with zero deductions of monthly payments for the inconvenience. I forgave them for that even though it is not working again now after being with Gramercy for nearly a year and a half along with the microwave breaking 3 times on us at this point.
NOW WHAT REALLY IS UPSETTING. We asked to move to a fully upgraded apartment with a yard... ok deal, Jodi takes us to the fully upgraded model with no yard and lets us know that it will look just like this one but with a yard. One month later, we walk into our new apartment and it is the oldest version apartment with a yard. It was the same as our current apartment but half the size with a yard and they quoted us for the same prize that we pay now for the much smaller and much older looking apartment BUT AT LEAST IT HAS A YARD LOL. Not happening, so we go back into the office and speak with Jodi and let her know that this is not what we spoke about. Over the next few weeks she is showing us partial upgrades with no yard and old versions with yards and still quoting us the same price. I was under the impression for a month that we would get a fully upgraded apartment with a yard for $1250. Now after involving Tracy , THE MANAGER, who is very hostile and not considerate of her residents we are aware that someone already signed for our current apartment and if we do not chose something that we did not agree to... THEY WILL EVICT US. So now, we have chosen the partial upgrade.... much smaller than our current apartment...... with no yard......for $1210 (which is more than we pay now for a double the size but less upgraded version)...... or be HOMELESS. We paid $200 for a moving company on the day that we were supposed to have what we agreed to which I let Tracy know that and she could care less for the mistakes that THEY HAVE MADE. Not once has she apologized but instead treats me like I am an imbecile. I cannot wait for our lease to be up so I can never deal with this idiocy and hostility again. I would love to take them to small claims court but they have bullied me so much at this point that I just want to agree and move on (WHICH IS WHAT THEY WANT FROM ME). Please be aware of the...
Read moreI used this location many time and had such a pleasant experience until today. Went in on christmas eve to mail something and I brought a clear tape which i had purchased in this location 12/15. This mid 50 year old white woman named DAWN treated me so poorly as if I stole it. She demanded either I pay for the tape or leave the tape in the office. I tried to explain to her that this tape is purchased a week ago but she claimed that it certainly is not because there is no bar code sticker on the side of the tape (it is not my fault that previous clerk didn't put the sticker on the tape and I certainly do not know how post office clerks run thing on sale) She called her supervisor on me and he demanded the receipt which i didn't have it on me. So I told this DAWN that I will go get my receipt so hold on to my tape. Dawn decided to slam the tape on her side table with such a disgust and started to raise her voice at me. I was so fed up with her attitude and poor mannerism but i had to come back to prove that i am not some tape thief (ridiculous). I drove home which took me 40mins round trip btw. When I showed up with the receipt she did not acknowledge me instead she called her "big daddy" supervisor to handle her wrongdoing. At that point I got so sick of this DAWN and her supervisor I just left. No matter how frustrating the situation may have been there is no reason for her to treat me that poorly. This lady DAWN may be old but acts so immature and unprofessional. She is totally unqualified in the...
Read moreUpdate. My experience with this place just got worse. I ordered some stamps (really nice botanical collection) and they arrived in a package that was partially ripped and with water damage (clearly from improper handling). Of course the stamps inside had some damage to them. My husband took them to this post office (because they were the ones who handled and delivered them) and asked to exchange them for none damaged ones. They refused!! The worker told my husband (in a very annoyed manner) that they are still technically usable..... not even an apology for the damage done to something we paid for. Very disappointed. Will do my best to not use this post office if at all possible.
My main issue is that now it is almost impossible to get a hold of them over the phone. I needed to talk to a live person because (according to the tracking update) my package got damaged and the portion with address became illegible, so it was "undeliverable". I was trying to get a hold of someone so I can tell them what the address should be. Or hold it for me at this location for pickup.... but there was no way to get through to a live person even at 10:00 am. I have called to this office in the past and everything was fine. Not sure why they had...
