Updated review : I still love this place, I visit often for many different products and have spent thousands over the course of a year. Unfortunately, I feel like the customer service is declining rapidly. The crew that worked there when I first started to visit was great! Very helpful and personable. But now they are not very helpful and some down right rude. Before leaving for a road trip to Florida last week, I stopped by to get what I needed. One of the products I asked for was cbd oil that was priced at 79.95. Once I got to my and destination and opened the bottle to use it, I noticed it was not like the previous oils I had purchased. That's because I was not given cbd oil but vape oil that smelled and tasted awful. Once I returned to Dallas I stopped by to purchase more products. Knowing the chances of me getting an exchange were small, I still asked (very politely might I add) and was told no, that's not happening in a rude tone. Which was okay, I know store policies don't allow people to exchange products like that that have been opened. It was her tone that bothered me. I figured since it was their mistake (only employees can open the case and retrieve products) she would be willing to help me in some way. Even 10% off a new bottle would have been great, it was their $80 mistake. But no, I got a rude employee that didn't care. I suggested the new employees be more educated on the products and again was rudely responded to with a, "all of our employees are well trained." Obviously not. Maybe I'll start going to the other location, maybe I'll find a new brand altogether. Just severely disappointed after having such a great experience prior.
Original review : I love this location! I stumbled upon it by accident and I'm sure glad I did! They have the best selection compared to any other store offering Kratom products. The staff is usually always very friendly and informative! With that said, they lost a star because some of the new staff has not been trained properly. When I first started with this location, the staff had to help me. I was quite clueless to all the strands. I've been taking kratom for a decent amount of time now and when I went in to try something new, the newer staff member gave me information that contradicts what I had already been told. This person in particular also had an attitude and to this day I still don't know why. I'll chalk it up to them having a bad day. I still love their store and all the staff (haven't seen that person since) but I do wish the prices were a little lower or maybe they offer more incentives. The rewards program is awesome but I spend a lot of money there and a b2g1 deal (or something) would be nice. Read moreI’ve been shopping at this location for several months and have had only positive experiences until my last visit. I appreciate the curbside service and being able to phone in my order for pickup. The staff has always been pleasant and professional, never pushy or weird... until my my recent experience with an employee named Lea. I called the store to place my order and instead of just taking note of the item I wanted and letting me go she proceeded to ask me if I wanted to take advantage of the holiday specials. I asked what the special was and she explained, I said no but thanks for asking, I’ll just take this one item please. Then she started asking strange and invasive questions about how the product was working for me and what other strains I’m using. When I said I really just want this one thing, that’s all please, she started asking what I’m mixing it with. I said please. I just want this one item, thank you. Then she asked AGAIN if I wanted orange juice.... OMG can you please just take my order and let me go?!?!? I understand offering the holiday promotion but once I stated that I was only interested in the one item that should have been the end of it. She absolutely should not be asking me about what else I’m using, what I’m mixing with it, etc. Having a knowledgeable and helpful staff is great but I never asked for advice and did not appreciate being put on the spot. A lot of people deal with anxiety around talking to strangers, talking on the phone, and talking about our bodies and medications. Unless a customer specifically requests advice your staff should not ask these sorts of questions. I literally don’t want to shop here anymore because I don’t want to deal with this sales person.
