I must anticipate that I had little time to spend at the fair, I could only stay for a short time at noon on Sunday.
There was a nice variety of vendors, and I wish I could have seen one of the dance shows or concerts.
I would have given 4 ☆ to the fair if it wasn't for how disappointing the Alligator demonstration was. We happened to arrive right at the time of that show, and I expected to see more respect and empathy for the animal. The whole environment was just wrong. Extremely loud music, flashing lights, a lonely alligator on the multicolored carpet in the middle of the ballroom, where a huge number of people were asked to clap and participate noisily to the show... to support the "brave" man poking the terrified animal with a stick.
I felt like that poor animal was being bullied, and that show had taken place who knows how many times!
This kind of show should be forbidden! Please respect the animals, remember that they can't speak up for themselves, we should protect the weakest ones, ...
