Omg! This place was terrible! WHAT A JOKE!! The rugs and chairs inside the hotels are filthy, you can’t even sit on the chairs so they might as well throw them away. Marijuana smell comes out of the hallway day in and day out, mind you the doors all day “no smoking” you have people sitting in the halls just bumming around on the dirty carpets and then pizza flyers get kicked into your bedroom door every hour, very annoying! The air is extremely loud and annoying you can’t even hear your television while it’s on. We were told we would get a Florida discount and we never did, we were told we would have a balcony view that’s false because they don’t even have balconies only dirty black windows that feel like your in a jail. Everything is very outdated and rusted and you have to literally go on a search for toilet paper and soap because they only provided one for our whole week stay. We needed towels and they had no service at night so we had to come down to get what we needed, and the breakfast is not even a breakfast!! You have one lady coming back and foward pushing back all your breads and eggos and adding more and there is no drinks, only what appears to be coffee in a very old dirty coffee dispenser, and u get the same 3 cereals every morning. It’s really disappointing to have pulled up to that place and felt what my family and I felt! It was very deceiving and false advertisement!! The parking lot has no lights and bums all day and night so you’re worries about your car all vacation, not fun! I would have to get up some nights at 3 and 4 am because there would be police lights lighting up my room and go figure it was in our parking lots kicking out bums and having people who aren’t laying against the walls doing drugs move out! What is this place!? Wow!! To top it all off they have no locks on their doors from the beach to the lobby, it’s a false card slot that’s all broken and hanging off and the gate from the beach to pool is also open for the public so we had bums coming in and out looking to see if the bar was open (which by the way didn’t open one time while we were there, another false advertisement) thank God it didn’t because I’ve already felt unsafe all week and I’m very disappointed that I paid my hard earned money there all week for a terrible experience! As my son came out of the pool to go to our lobby bathroom in the hotel there was a bum in there cleaning up and changing and he told my son to please wait outside till he was done! What the hell is that!? We are paying for the hotel not him! Then he just sat out by the pool waiting on the bar with more girls he brought along to the hotel. This is just a big joke all! PLEASE DON’T IGNORE THE REVIEWS!! If you want to stay in a low class motel filled with drugs and bums then this is your motel! It was a very scary and not so fun vacation! Never again!! And I will make sure that anyone that comes here writes their reviews because it’s sad that this was so deceitful and unhonest! Other moms were in the lobby with me saying the same things and we are all writing reviews! I want...
Read moreThis stay was awful. At check-in, it took 3 different re-keyings and a call to maintenance to get the cards to work to open our door. We had no toilet paper. The phone only worked if you wiggled the cord around. It is an uncontrolled party hotel. There are about 40 people in our group staying here tonight, and several of the teens voiced that they feel uncomfortable. We are spread out over four floors, and there is a problem on every floor. At 11 pm, we complained about a weed party on one floor, smoke pouring out of the room, the entire hallway stinking. Security knocked on the door and told them to quiet down since there were kids on the floor. No mention at all about all the weed smoke, but a very direct finger pointed at who complained. At about 11 pm, a young man who was drunk and seemed to be high was falling down and pulling his clothes off. He couldn't find his room, and was pounding on all of the doors. After about 30 to 45 minutes of this, I finally physically guided him to the elevator, and pushed the first floor button for him. I told him to ask the front desk which room was his. He ended up getting off on the third floor and started harassing teens from our group. I called back at about 1:30, after the partying on another floor got out of hand. Security came up, asked them if they called, was told no, and she just walked off. At 2 am, when it became a fight with 15 people outside my door, I went and yelled at them that I was calling the police. They all took off to the parking lot to yell and scream some more. Security finally came to our room. I told her they moved it downstairs to the parking lot. She left, and they came back upstairs shouting again. The hotel doesn't seem to recognize when it is time to remove people. It didn't even BEGIN to start quieting down until after 4 am. This isn't even going into all the people at the pool at 3 and 4 am shouting and screaming. The next morning, there were beer cans scattered all over the beach, and the guy that had been harassing the kids was still outside drinking. He was beyond comprehension, and dropped his pants to start peeing in front of everyone right on the beach. We told the staff, who did not seem phased. While we were packing, we found some old nasty stained up sheets under our bed. The breakfast downstairs was also nothing to write home about. The juice was watered down, and something was wrong with the coffee. I took pics of the sheets and some other issues to the front desk. They just said they were sorry to hear it, but really didn't sound like they cared at all. About half of our group said they got no sleep at all the night before. Our group makes this trip every year (for 20 years now), and I've never seen problems as bad as this. I don't have final decision by any means, but I'm going to ask our director to please never use this hotel again. (included a pic of the sheets found shoved...
Read moreIf zero stars was available thats what I would rate this place..First off the web site is fake as they come this place is nothing like it shows on the site..on first arriving at oceanside inn the place is very dirty, smells horrible, the windows on the hotel was do dirty they looked stained, the restaurant was never open, nor the bar, all of the front desk clerks (with the exception of one young lady) was very rude, we was suppose to have ocean front but of course there was none available on our arrival..when we got to our room after walking a block and crossing the busy street to park with 3 little children our room had a horrible smell. The housekeeping was horrendous, there was a sign that said housekeeping does not clean until like the 3 or 4th day of ur stay, which was fine I had no problem with that because I didnt not want them in my room when I wasnt there anyway. But on our 4th day of stay while we was out of the room the housekeeper came in and cleaned and of course there was a problem when we got back..the housekeeper had knocked my wifes ring off the end table and vacuumed it, she did not report it, she placed it back on the table as if she done nothing..the manager was notified who did come to our room and explained what happened after we call for a police report..(bc we thought the diamond had been stolen.) And he did find the diamond under the bed, but the manager did not apologize nor did the housekeeper, did not offer to replace the ring or have it fix or anything, and he tried to make us feel like it was our fault..so at the time we didnt make a huge deal about it bc we thought it could be fixed, and we didnt want it to ruin our vacation, it was not until we returned home when we found out that the ring was completely worthless and could not be fixed. Over $3000 down the drain or should I say up the vacuum. I called the hotel from home and tried to explain the situation and the manager of course was rude and stated they was not responsable for the damages. Of course how convenient, he told me to file a claim with my home owners..lol why would I do that when it was their hotel and their employee that was negligent and responsible for the damaged to our property. I know it was our fault for leaving it in the room but we was also under the impression that housekeeping wouldn't be in our room. I would never stay in this dirty, disrespectful place nor would I recommend it to anyone. I wouldn't even allow my pets to stay here... In closing I also asked for the contact info for the owner of the property and the hotel manager refused to give me the info. I hope this hotel reads its reveiws and it not the manager I spoke with bc he obviously can not and will not understand the seriousness of...
