WHOA! This 'hotel' feels more like a small resort. it's a super quiet and quaint little hotel situated between the mega hotels on the strip. We initially reserved under Micks beach but directions took us to 'Organic Retreat' so there was a transfer of ownership. There's only maybe 8 rooms in the whole place. The room was super clean and relaxing. The room itself didn't have much of a view (brick wall and hotel) but you don't have to walk very far for a view. Just open your door and the beach is there. Room had a fully equipped little kitchen with everything we needed to cook anything we wanted (stove, microwave, fridge, tea kettle, coffeepot, sink, silverware, pots, pans, etc)... The beds were comfortable. My husband and I came down for a football game. I unfortunately had to work- shout out to the reliable fast free wifi! There were enough outlets to set up 2 laptops and work from either the bed or the kitchen. Because i had to work I unfortunately didn't get to get in the pool, but i did dip my toes in and it was warm. the beach is right outside the pool area. We didn't have any housekeeping check on us, which is fine- that's how I like it. Did meet a couple who have been coming to the hotel for 20 years and gave a quick run down on the property and places to visit. That was cool. I would like to be 'regulars' as well. We did finish of our 'vacation' in orlando and clearwater area, next time i'm skipping those places and staying here the whole time- I didn't want to leave. I'm not for sure, but there is a washer/dryer on the ground floor. I think might be for guest use. Seriously, this whole place was BEAUTIFUL. the grounds , the...

My family reserved a unit here because this was not a Daytona Beach visit that invites the “vacation vibes” of the larger, high-energy resorts. We came here to discuss future care for my elderly dad.
Organic Beach Retreat provides everything you need to calm your mind and relax. Our unit was literally steps away from the ocean! We would sit on the large balcony at the end of the day, have a glass of wine, listen to the tumbling tide, and enjoy our family.
The morning sunrise, coupled with the AMAZING organic coffee provided by the Retreat, was EVERYTHING we needed to start the day!
Our unit was immaculate! Not one thing was out of place. The attention to detail was everywhere. Soundscapes music played upon our arrival, all the lights were on to welcome us, and our room smelled so fresh and clean. It is apparent that every member of this staff truly cares about the integrity and reputation of their hotel. They want you to leave their Retreat with your shoulders lower and your breath deeper. Mission accomplished!
God led us to this Retreat. I’m confident of that. He knew we would need a place to recharge, at the end of emotional days.
We made new friends with the staff and owners. Our family is very grateful for their warm hospitality.
Organic Beach Retreat, and its pristine accommodations, is our new favorite beach spot! We look forward to...
Read moreMy husband & I take several short breaks in the Daytona area every year. For the first time we stayed at Mick's Beach Hideaway, and this will be our go-to place, the ONLY place in Daytona we will consider from now on.||This is a very small hotel, and for over 25 adults only. Our two night stay was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed!||We were in the "Penthouse", which is a very spacious room with a king bed and two comfortable chairs. There is a small kitchen with full sized refrigerator, and it was equipped with everything we needed to prepare simple meals. There is also a small dining table and chairs. The BEST feature was the large balcony overlooking the pool and beach. It was big enough for two full sized lounge chairs, and a round table with umbrella, and 4 chairs. Although it was August, the weather on the beach was pleasant, and we spent most of our time out on that balcony enjoying the breeze and beatuiful view. We also enjoyed the pool and were lucky enough tpo have it to ourselves most of the time. Everything, from the room to the pool area was spotlessly clean. Although we did not meet the owner "Mick" in person, I had the pleasure of speaking to him on the phone. He has a terrific place here, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing stay...
