We arrived late on a Friday. Room was as expected. We got settled in and went to sleep. Woke up Saturday morning. I heard water running as you do when others take showers in hotels and jumped in the shower. I looked up in the shower and their was visible water from above on the ceiling. I got out of the shower and noted a small stream of water coming from the fire sprinkler in front of the sink. Got dressed, took pictures and a video because it was only dripping by then. The water on the ceiling in the bathroom spread. We went down to tell staff. To make a long story short, water ran into the light fixture in the bathroom (I took a video because it is hard to see in pictures) and there was visible water marks (fresh) on every ceiling on that end of the room. The day manager (I think) came up to our room and my husband showed him. He had brought towels to clean up the water, which my husband already had, and left the towels stacked on the floor. He said he would tell maintenance and get us a new room. They were booked so we had to wait until someone checked out. We packed all of our stuff and took it with us. No other staff members were aware of the situation. When we came back Saturday evening, rhe clerk had to contact the day manager to figure out where we were. Upon getting up for breakfast my husband noticed we already had been charged for both nights. He talked to the lady at the desk as we were surprised that we were not offered anything for having to spend time explaining the issues, packing up and leaving the hotel until night. The lady said she could not do anything but offer points. My husband asked to speak to the manager. He would not be available until Monday. They would have him call. Surprise. No call. My husband called customer service who said there was no issue reported. We sent pictures and videos. They said they have had ro give rhe manager 4 hours to call us. After all, he is busy. My husband called customer service after about 6 hours. They called the manager and put my husband through to him. The manager told my husband there is no water damage, the hotel is full and they are number 12 in the chain so he is doing something right. My husband said he did not appreciate being called a liar. Since I was not personally on the call, I don't know all that was said. We did get refunded 1 night. The room we were moved to on the 1st floor had a large old watermark on the ceiling above the bed. The first room we stayed in was 325. Water was leaking in the light fixture in the bathroom. I think this is unsafe. We will not ever stay at that...

Read moreIt was a nice hotel. Every business has problems, as does any property. These were the problems we encountered. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain well at all. The sink got more and more full just brushing my teeth. There was a small black box on the nightstand. I assume it's a clock, but it was not displaying a time. That's OK but the problem was that at approximately 4:00am the alarm started going off. This woke everyone up and I couldn't go back to sleep. The people in the room down the hall allowed their very tiny children to run up and down the hall yelling until about 2:00am. So to be awoken at 4:00am was not pleasant. But worse of all, at 5:00am when I realized I wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep after that alarm clock went off, I decided to get some ice at the ice machine. I left my room in my pajamas and left to get ice. When I got to the ice machine I realized I needed an ice bucket. I used my key card to get back into the room and got the ice bucket. After getting the ice, I used my key card to get back into the room again. I wanted a soda but it was in my car. I went out to my car, in my pajamas. It was so cold outside. I tried to use the key card to get back inside but it wouldn't work. I was in the back of the building, it was dark and cold. That key worked 3 minutes earlier. I was banging on the glass doors, when a group of people walked by the door. They weren't about to let me in. I held up my key card and started screaming "My card won't work." Thankfully, one guy decided to let me in. I walked up to the main desk but there were 3 people in front of me - arguing about a $ credit she is due. I could see that this was going to go on for a while. I WAS IN MY PAJAMAS!! I didn't want to stand in the lobby in my pajamas. I had no choice but to pound on the room door and wake everyone up AGAIN. But other than that...
