I'm a car hauler from California. More than half of my food that I eat is truck stop food. So tonight after buying Popeyes from the truck stop, then checking into a Hotel... I see a "Authentic Mexican Restaurant". Instead of eating my Popeyes I head down for a couple of drinks and some real food. I get there at 9:20 and I was forced to order to go... which is understandable because they close at 10pm. I ask if I can sit down at the bar and have a drink before they close. I get to the bar and it's 4 guys at the bar. I sit down. It takes about 4 or 5 minutes before I get a any acknowledgement. I have to ask for a drink menu... I ask for a Hurricane, they don't have any more. I ask for a Cherry Mojito, they don't have any more. So one of the waitresses says, we have Tap Beer and House Margaritas... It's happy hour, the drinks I wanted to ordered we're $3 drinks... The Margaritas were $3 or $5. Cool. Give me a margarita. It's been a long cold day, y'all don't have what I want, it's late, I'm tired, ya'll tired and irritated... When I get my tab, I noticed she gave me the Large Margaritas! The Mojito and Hurricane was $3, so why would you automatically give me the $5 drink? It would've been okay if the staff was more friendlier and inviting. I could've went nextdoor to the Liquor shop and bought a bottle for $10.8. They were so nice to all of the other men, maybe because they were regular customers or because they was Hispanics and spoke spanish. I haven't even tried my food yet. I'm so upset with the customer service, and the way they treated me I don't have a appetite. Sad part is, one of the owners/managers said I will only charge 1 of the drinks for $5. The other one I will charge you $3.(at that point I still was on the second cup and it was about 75% full). Then when she noticed I already had the money in my hand... She said sorry, it's nothing that I can do about it now, I'll make it up next time... Then had the nerve to not give me my change! I had to stand around for a few minutes (the last customers left, I was still waiting for my change) then ask for my money! Like she was entitled to a tip or that my .20 didn't mean anything to me! She had a attitude, and threw a quarter on the bar and walked away.. I dug in my pocket and pulled out a nickel and set it by the cash register. I should've just had my 3 peice from Popeyes and bought a...
Read moreGreat food and atmosphere. I found the place to be very clean. The service was impactable. My server name was Erica, very informational on my surroundings because i'm not from the area. She gave me good tips and advice on where to go in the area for fun and entertainment. She was very attentive. She was very happy and enthusiastic to serve me. The chicken fajitas was outstanding, they could have a better soda selection. So I had to settle for water. Yet the meal was amazing.I will be returning again. Plus the service was outstanding. I did put this restaurant down as one of my favorites. I do travel for a living and I come up here to Denver. 3 times a month. This is a spot worth coming to. I know I have recently posted something really positive. This is an update to the rest of my post. On 8/29/25 i had ordered the chicken fajitas.Paid twenty four dollars or twenty five. Only to be really disappointed. There was barely any chicken on the plate. It was mainly onion's bell and bell peppers. They gave me more salad than normal. Plus it was very little beans and rice. This is an outrageous price for such a small portion of food. They gave me such a huge helping of sour cream.Yet they were very skimpy on s e avocado. A large portion of pico de gaio. Yet a very small portion of the chicken I would say not even a full breast of chicken. I will come back if this continues.I will no longer come to this establishment. For there are outrageous prices for the little bit of meat that you get. You mainly get a lot of vegetables for a high price. This was this past experience. I truly hope it was only a one time deal. But yet I was told by the service that they were getting complaints from several customers. I must say the service was...

Absolutely disgusting!!! I got a torta yuk!!! First off it was cold 2nd it barley had any meat 3rd the bread tasted funky! Had no beans or quac like most tortas do....overall horrendous!!! My daughter order a carrnita plate it might as well been a childs plater barley and rice and beans the carnitas tasted like chicharrones burnt!! Husband's same thing everything tasted like leftover food that has been sitting out all day! Other daughter the rice was chewy. My husband told the waiter and he completely disregarded our dislike of the food blaming on the lack of cooks they had that the owner was back there cooking. We waited 30 mins for that and no discount! Come on!! I mean the owner could have at least went and said hey were sorry for the inconvenience we'll take something off the bill. Nope! There were 2 other tables that were complaining as well. We over heard as they were on back of us. Same thing everything was cold and the food was gross. So quick tip make sure u go early to not get leftovers and if u go at night and dont like it say something right away maybe just maybe they'll do something. Never again!!! 60 bucks down the drain and im...
