Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Denver

I stopped by Tropical Smoothie Café on Peoria Street in Denver for National Smoothie Day, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. I ordered the Sunrise Sunset smoothie, a Chicken Bacon Ranch Melt, and cheddar chips—and to top it off, I received a free smoothie as part of the celebration. That was a great surprise and made my visit even more enjoyable.

The Sunrise Sunset smoothie was vibrant, fruity, and incredibly refreshing—exactly what I needed on a warm day. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and citrus, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Melt was hot, flavorful, and filling. The bacon was crisp, the chicken was tender, and the ranch tied everything together just right. The cheddar chips were the perfect side—crunchy and satisfying.

What really made this visit stand out was the staff. Everyone was polite, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy working there. It made the atmosphere feel upbeat and easygoing. The store itself was spotless—tables wiped down, the floor was clean, and the ordering area was well-maintained.

There was plenty of parking in front, so finding a spot was no issue at all. I also noticed the restrooms were open and clean, which is always appreciated when you’re dining out.

Overall, this location exceeded my expectations. Great service, great food, and a great smoothie—plus a bonus freebie just for showing up on National Smoothie Day. I’ll definitely be coming back, whether it’s for a quick bite, a smoothie pick-me-up, or just to enjoy the friendly vibe....

This is typically my go to place. Seth was very rude this morning. Interrupted me and then accused me of interrupting him and raising my voice. When I called because I never got my delivery from jump I told him I understand it’s not their fault but DoorDash directed me to them and explained what happened. As I’m explaining and reading the messages I got from DoorDash he interrupted me and said well it was a male who picked up your order. As if me giving him the dashers name was a lie. When I have the messages. Phone number. Info from door dash. He was very rude. Argued with me for 5 minutes instead of just apologizing and processing the refund. He is trying to lecture me and tell me he doesn’t need attitude like I’m a child when I was very respectful until he got jazzy with me. Y’all just lost a customer....

I was here to pick up a mobile order today at around 10:50 am. It was really early and they only had one customer. Yet they had 2 more employees upfront. I walked in and nobody greeted me or anything so I waited by where they usually do the pick up orders. They finish with the customer. And nobody came to help me out. I waited there for a while until I asked if they had my order. She said I don’t know the pick up orders are over there. Which it wasn’t in the same place as I had grabbed it from the last time. I went to the other side and I found my order. Maybe my visit would have been faster and more pleasant if they had a little bit of customer service or actually tried to help me as a customer. Not because I’m picking up my order means I have to be treated any less than the other...
