Wretched dump & rude staff! Avoid at all cost! Stayed this week. The housekeeping staff of 4 South Asians started to call our room and hang up starting at 10:35AM in order to get us to check out by the stated 11AM checkout. We were the last people to depart the hotel. They clearly wanted us out before 11AM checkout as we were the last room to depart the hotel. We arranged for a late checkout...yet housekeeping kept calling and hanging up. This place smells moldy and is disgusting. The extraordinarily rude employees were the icing on the cake. I called the nice lady at the front desk to complain about the obnoxious crank calls to our room from the hotel housekeeping and she said that she had told housekeeping NOT to call us as we had a late checkout. I ran into the young female (30 years old?) South Asian housekeeping in the parking lot of this disgusting dive motel to stop calling us and she denied that they "ever called" and hilariously said it wasn't housekeeping but must have been a "random person crank calling our specific room in the motel" and asked for our specific room number multiple times before checkout between 10:35AM-11AM. Why would someone crank call the motel and specifically ask for our room number multiple times during the time window? Yeah right, that was a complete lie. She looked to be about 30 years old and her coworker/parents in their 60's. Don't believe these people. This place is a frightening POS with insanely rude housekeepig. This place is a Travelodge in legal licensing name only...Travelodge does not own this place but rather licenses their name. This place is a complete S**thole. Avoid...avoid...avoid. I'm sure this horrible place will post some BS response. You get what you pay for. I'd highly recommend you spend more money and stay at a nicer place. Again, the South Asian woman who checked us in was nice...the rest were complete POS. If I could give this place a negative rating I would...giving it the minimum 1 out of 5 stars is way...
Read morePlus: Friendly and accommodating staff. Reasonable price. They honestly provided a "scent-free room" when requested. Most hotels forget about or ignore that request. This hotel did not. Minus: Two small dead flies in the orange juice and a small fly in the room when we entered. It might not be the fault of the hotel, but the initial complaints about flies were made weeks ago. As stated by many others, photos are not accurate. It would have been better to honestly depict the size of the establishment and the rooms. Market the hotel rooms as small but comfortable and customers would feel good about their choice, rather than feel tricked. The trash pickup at 3 am woke me up. It might not have been the fault of the hotel, but it was annoying. Bars on the shower stall were too low for seniors and the sink was detached from the bedroom. There are only 2-3 tables in the breakfast area and the breakfast menu is limited. If I were traveling alone, would definitely give this hotel another chance. If with spouse or family would...
