I am trying to understand how this hotel carries the Marriott name and Marriott corporate is letting this hotel to operate in such condition. This hotel was incredibly disappointing. Totally disgusting. From the moment you step in to the property, the front desk area, the hallway, the elevator, the room…. Everything feel dirty. It’s dated. It smells like mold everywhere you go. Building looks old and run down. The room is poorly maintained with outdated bathrooms, furnitures, etc. The bad smell of humidity and dirt coming from the carpeted floor and when you enter the room it is even worse, all the furniture old and in poor condition, bad smell, disgusting floor carpet, missing lighting, dirty bathroom, etc. It feels unhealthy. The air feel polluted and smells bad. Nightstand drawer wont stay shut. Hurt myself at night when I was trying to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.||The pictures they had by the front desk does not match with the actual room at all.||I am a Platinum elite. No recognition during check-in. No upgrade even when I asked. Was given one queen bedroom when the reservation was for 3 people. Bed looks tiny and uncomfortable. Pull out couch was dirty and smelly. Same think during check-out. No recognition, no thank you, didn’t ask about the stay. Printer was broken. wasnt able to get a hard copy of the final invoice. Girl behind the desk had a little attitude when I ask for print out.||This place is an absolute mess. Marriott corporate needs to step in and fix this place...

Our stay at Candlewood Suites Doral was disappointing due to cleanliness and maintenance issues. The flooring in our room was in terrible condition—laminate was stained, warped, and sticky, while the carpet was ripped and visibly dirty. The only well-maintained flooring was the ceramic tile planks in the lobby and common areas.
The gym was a mixed bag—while the dumbbells, bench, elliptical, and bike were in good shape, the treadmill was broken, and there were no disinfecting wipes or mats for floor exercises.
Basic amenities were lacking. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, so we had to use body wash from the shower. When we requested bedding for the pullout sofa, we were initially given only one flat sheet and a blanket. After asking again, we were begrudgingly given another sheet, blanket, and what was called a “mattress pad,” but it was just another blanket.
On the positive side, the coffee was good, and the staff was friendly. They upgraded us to a two-bedroom on the second night which we appreciated. However, they also threw away our cooler bag that we accidentally left in the first room—despite the fact that we were staying another night.
Overall, the poor room conditions and lack of attention to detail made for a frustrating stay. Would not return unless significant...
