WOW! We were impressed with Divieto all around! We drove from Key Largo to celebrate our anniversary after it was highly recommended by a close friend. We made a reservation for 8PM and for a Monday it was full. We arrived 20 minutes early and were seated at our table promptly at 8PM. Our server, Daniella, was outstanding and very attentive. She checked on us frequently through the night as did the manager on duty to be sure all was well. We had Cabernet (him) and the Lychee Martini (me). The martini was consistent (had many 😜) and delicious. For appetizers, he had the octopus and I had the beef carpaccio which was HUGE! Both were great and the carpaccio was drizzled with truffle oil which made it all that perfect! For the main course, he had the impressive Tomahawk which the cut for him and was the perfect temperature of Medium. I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo on the cheese wheel (my first time) and it was delicious, best I have ever had. The server gave us fun facts on the wheel including how they each serve above 750 meals from each one and go through about 5 in week so so - so they got to be doing something right 🤤 For dessert they brought us a complimentary brownie with “Happy Anniversary “ on it and we ordered a tiramisu. Both were delicious! In summary, hands down, this restaurant is with the visit. I read the reviews prior to arriving. This is a very busy restaurant so plan to arrive early and be patient until seated. My server was amazing and you can tell she is well seasoned. Her attention was appreciated and a look all around showed me all servers on point. As far as food, we had perfection and so we will definitely be back. Don’t think about visiting, do it and make your reservation!

Great experience. Highly recommend reservations. If you walk in, it's a 5 - 45 minute wait time depending on the day and time. Parking is available depending on the day and time, but the valet is available for free. The server was attentive. Bread with a side of olive oil given as a starter. As for Antipasti: Bruschetta Siciliana was good as well as the Calamari Fritti. The pizzas are good, but they are thin crusted. Fettuccine Alfredo is really good, and if you add chicken, it's available in breaded or grilled. Lasagna Alla Bolognese is a good size and also tastes delicious. Risotto Al Fungi is another delicious plate as well as the Chicken Parmigiana is good, but their chicken in any of the plates, either grilled or breaded, it's a bit dry. As for their famous Ruota Di Parmigiano, is the authentic version of the original Alfredo sauce prepared in front of you in a wheel of cheese. It's similar to when I was in Italy a couple of months ago, but the server mixes it on a plate. This experience is better but more expensive than the Alfredo sauce version. The Chef's Specials are good, change every so often. Finally, the desserts. These all were good: Decadent Fudge Brownie, Italian Cheesecake, Creme Brulee, Tiramisu, and the Tuxedo Bombe. Each with their unique taste. Overall, it was a good expiernce. The hostess asks you if you're celebrating any occasion, and then management will give you a treat for sharing your occasion with them. Friendly and great customer service expiernce. If you can, register with their rewards service, and you will be rewarded. Enjoy!

I had been wanting to come here for a while but was hesitant because usually, these places are more hype than good. However, my husband and I decided to try it and see the hype for ourselves. We went on a Tuesday night, with reservation, and we thought it was going to be dead, well let me tell you, the place was packed up to the rim. You know that if a place is packed on a Tuesday night, they are doing something right, and after trying the food, it all made sense. The food and the drinks were absolutely delicious. We tried the Expresso Martini (Which is not on the menu but you can order it), La Passione, and the Smoked Old Fashion (one of each), and they were super good, with perfect balance. To end I had a limoncello shot and it was fresh and flavorful. We shared the Burrata with Prosciutto, which was also very fresh and tasty, and for the main course, he had the Lobster Ravioli and I had the Grouper Scampi. To finish, we had a Cappuccino Panna Cotta, which is my favorite dessert, and it was spectacular. I`m not even a fan of coffee, and I loved it. The food was very tasty, and the service was impeccable. With how packed that place was, we didn't have to ask for water once. Our server Francesca was AMAZING! She was super attentive and so kind, she gave us recommendations, and she had the best charisma, she made our experience even better. Roberto who was also assisting her, was also great, very attentive. I would certainly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back very soon!

A place should have the same service on a busy night as well as when they are not too busy. I had a reservation for 10:30, arrived at 10:10 and was told to wait, as I was waiting other guests that came after me were seated; at 10:22 the host (Gaby) without looking at me said that my reservation was for 10:30 and those guests also had reservations, based on that I would expect to be seated no later than 10:30. I was upset when Gaby was not there at 10:31 to tell me why my table was not ready. After talking to the manager we were promptly seated, so at least the damage control was effective, but the host was not welcoming. Thankfully our waitress Celeste was really nice and knowledgeable of the menu, we talked about the appetizers and she was very good overall. Now the food, I came in as almost everyone else for the cheese wheel, I would have expected fresh pasta, it didn’t taste like it and they let it overcook since it stays in a hot pot until thrown in the cheese; overall an underwhelming delivery. The chianti was good, the best item we had was the octopus for the appetizer, the worst was the panna cotta for dessert. This place presents itself as authentic Italian, it is not. The crowd on a Saturday felt a little like going to dolphin mall, it is not too far after all. I guess it is a close, easy way to try the cheese wheel experience but I would not recommend and definitely would not come back.

Set in Miami’s growing Doral neighborhood, Divieto Ristorante offers the best of Italian cuisine with a touch of American fare. The restaurant is decorated as a nostalgic image of old Art Deco Miami in a dark-lit building with checkered floors and candle lit tables. Divieto has become very popular not just for how its food tastes but also how it is prepared, specially it’s Alfredo pasta. This pasta has become one of the explanations for Divieto’s quick rise to fame as it is prepared table side on a 90 pound wheel of imported Parmesan Cheese. I must say I underestimated the power of creamy Alfredo being stirred inside a cheese wheel but it adds an invaluable amount of texture and taste to the pasta, making it probably the best Alfredo I’ve ever had. Although this pasta was the standout, it was not the only highlight with the caprese salad appetizer and even the bread being wonderfully made and quite fresh. The service was wonderful as well with a great server who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The only critique I have was the hostess as she was not very helpful to me and other patrons that evening and not very welcoming which I believe is important because it is the first person you talk to when walking in. Otherwise, Divieto provided an exceptional experience, one of the best in Doral’s eclectic food scene.

My friend who was celebrating her birthday wanted to visit this Italian restaurant she heard her friend talk about . I usually don't visit Italian restaurants here in Miami sense most of them end up disappointing me . Divieto took me by surprise. We did not had any reservations. So we had to wait 30 min. The hostess were very friendly. The waiting area outside is nice and chill . Atmosphere: We ended up sitting outside, which I recommended. Is chill, not to noisy, the fan give a nice breeze. I enjoy it . The service was good. The food: My mother other the Tuscan salmon . Very tasty, she loved it . The birthday girl order Alfredo shrimp because she wanted the show with the giant cheese wheel 🙄. She loved it . I managed to try the shrimp and it was cook perfect. I order the mascarpone pastas. It came with chicken and shrimp. I was surprised my shrimp was not over cooked. Every dish was delicious, well seasoned, flavorful and cooked to perfection . The server brought my friend a free brownie with a candle. That was very sweet of her . I order the tiramisu, it was good . ( not the best tiramisu but it was good) Overall, I left Diviento happy. The food surpassed my expectations. I will make sure to come back . 👍
