Spark by Hilton Miami Doral — Hotel in Doral

BEWARE!! I was robbed for my diamond earrings by housekeeper Maray! ! I keep putting up my review and it keeps being deleted! I stayed at the Spark in Doral for a few weeks over a course of few months spending a few grand on my stays!

In November of 2024 as a Diamond member I had a late checkout rushing with the housekeeper standing outside I left a pair of diamond earrings that I literally just purchased days prior and a diamond belly ring! I realized it after I got to my destination a few hours later.

I called and was told no one found or returned any diamond earrings and was even told the housekeeping supervisor checked with the staff and nothing was returned or found. I called relentlessly and was still told nothing was found.

3 weeks after I was at the front desk waiting to check in and the same housekeeper Maray GOT OFFTHE ELEVATOR WEARING MY DIAMOND EARRINGS they claimed no be found! She saw me scuffled to the laundry area appearing to tug at her ears! I told the GM Carolyn who also insisted Maray didn’t take the earrings then notified the police!

Oddly the GM and the housekeeper were offended and Maray was crying a river couldn’t believe I was accusing her of stealing! The police didn’t find them on her person. I requested to see the footage which btw the GM conveniently didn’t want show to the police…..we BOTH saw Maray the housekeeper trying to remove the earrings from her ears!

Knowing she was caught and the GM couldn’t overlook what we saw on video she admitted to taking my earrings! Instead of giving them back……she THREW THEM OUT THE WINDOW INTO TGE GRASS!!

I was informed of this when the GM and maintenance came to my suite flashlights in hand from retrieving them out the grass where she told them she tossed them!

She wore my earrings back to the hotel for over THREE WEEKS and no one said anything! In fact they ALL conspired to conceal the theft to include the GM!

They began treating me so rudely my last few days on my reservation as if I stole something from them to the point I had to contact the Executive team at Hilton to get relief!!!!

They suspended her for a few days but allowed her to keep her job where she would be able to STEAL from more Hilton guest!

BEWARE they don’t want this review posted because it exposes the fact that they have thieves on payroll and they ALL conspire to conceal thefts! Book at another property or lock EVERYTHING up or you will regret not...

As a Hilton Honors Member, I was very disappointed with my recent stay at this Hilton-branded spinoff hotel in Doral. I chose this property based on the Hilton name and the fact that it had recently been renovated, expecting a comfortable and smooth experience. Unfortunately, that was far from the case.

I traveled from South Carolina with a group of college students, many of whom were visiting the Miami area for the first time. Upon arrival, our check-in experience was a disaster. We had been told by a Hilton booking agent that, since our group reservation was paid in advance, we would not be required to pay an incidentals fee. However, the hotel staff refused to honor this and made us go through hours of back and forth with Hilton’s customer service. It took over 3 hours before we were finally given room keys—meanwhile, our students were exhausted from a full day of travel.

The advertised "free breakfast" is incredibly misleading. It consisted of store-bought bagels, a small selection of fruit, and apple and orange juice. That’s not what anyone would consider a proper breakfast, especially under the Hilton brand.

Room amenities were lacking. Each room only had one washcloth, and we had to go down to the front desk to request additional towels and washcloths—not something you expect at a Hilton property.

The most alarming issue occurred when someone else was given the key to my room. While I was changing, the door suddenly opened and a stranger walked in. I felt completely unsafe. The woman showed me her key and it showed my hotel room number. They double-booked the room! When I reported this to the front desk, they brushed it off and asked if I was sure it wasn't housekeeping. I’ve stayed in enough hotels to know the difference. That was an insult to my intelligence.

This was, by far, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. If I could give this hotel a 0 out of 10, I would. Hilton, I'm very...

BEWARE! AUGUST 2025 I stayed here with my family at Spark By Hilton Doral Miami. Usually whenever we stay at a hotel we would occupied their Safty Box for our Jewelry & Other Valuables but they didn’t had any provided.

On our 2nd day I left my wife Tory Sunglasses on the Tv Stand & we left the hotel. When we arrive back it was missing. So we thought before making a report let’s check the entire room & so we did.

We didn’t find it, so we went to front desk & made a report & they said they would check with the cleaner & get back to us, But no1 did so we went back & request to speak to the manager. She came & said the cleaner didn’t see it & there’s nothing they could do but we could make a report.

Here’s the worst part. The Manager said that they trust their Staff & they never had any issue of this sort…. So I thought let me check their Reviews Online. Guess What! They Did Steal Before, They Did had this problem before….

We were leaving the very next day so we didn’t had time to make a Police Report.

Guess What They Did… They went back to our room & opened our luggage bag & put the sunglasses with the case in there. We don’t ever put our sunglasses in our Carry on. Although we are happy we got it back it shows what kind of people you will meet up with there & how the management operates.
