El hotel donde nos quedamos 10/10 #hotel #vacaciones #florida

Checked in 07/05 - Checked out 07/06 First I would like to thank the lady at the front desk who was working by herself on 07/05 while handling issues like mine, other guests and checking people in - she was literally doing the jobs of multiple people and should be positively recognized. Secondly I would like to thank Luis Morales the housekeeping manager for listening and being professional. BODY: We had a pleasant check into the hotel where we were assigned room S342. We dropped our things off and did not return until later that night after we finished our plans in Orlando. Luckily, before getting into bed we pulled the sheets on one of the beds only to see that the sheets had not been cleaned and there was what looked like seminal fluid all over them (picture attached). Immediately I instructed my pregnant wife and 3 year old son to not touch anything while I went downstairs to seek help. The poor lady working the front desk had a full line of guests to check in (this was around 10PM). During my turn in line I showed her the pictures and video (video not attached) and asked for a different room. At first she was only able to offer a sheet change, but I refused stating that I would only accept a room change since the bed was that disgusting and contaminated. She called a manager from her phone to explain and the manager authorized her moving us into room S331. Thankfully room S331 did not appear to have contaminated sheets but there were uncleaned hand marks over the head boards on the bed, as well as a broken lock on the door. To make matters worse, we had hotel employees open the door on us around midnight, and had I not had the door stop on, they would have come in since the lock was broken on the door (video available but not attached). I want to thank Luis Morales for listening and offering accommodations on our next stay, but I can unfortunately say that we will not be returning and the purpose of this review is to make any other guests aware of what they might encounter and for the hotel management to reach out to me or provide me with a direct line of communication with someone that can provide me with a concession for my stay.

This Marriott location is nice in some aspects and just basic in others. Nothing fancy but better than many. For the price point, location and what you get, it's a solid 3 star hotel. Perfect for a basic stay, a place to sleep and easy access to the parks, Disney Springs, IDrive etc. Plenty of nearby off property restaurants and shopping. Overall, I will not return next time in the area and will explore other properties. Things to consider: 1. Location is fantastic for park access multiple days and does offer a shuttle service though not utilized. 2. Parking: you pay a daily rate for parking on premise, which is ridiculous and expensive 3. Guest services at front counter are not the most customer service friendly and provided no assistance during the check in process (take your luggage in to the front entrance, then go park the car. No elevator access if on the wings of the building and entering a side door). 4. Rooms aren't the best. Expect hard beds, no privacy in bathrooms (toilet not separate from rest of bathroom and the sliding barn door offers no "sound protection" for private moments. Had a leaking shower door and grime was observed on all hard surfaces and walls. Room couch was clearly used for "extracurricular" activities with slime marks to match 🤢. Maintenance is lacking on some aspects and deep cleaning was evidently missed all together. 5. Provided toilet paper is the basic "gas station" commercial paper. Bring your own if you don't want to sandpaper your privates. 6. The dual blinking green lights that strobe off the smoke detector are a factor to consider when trying to sleep in a dark room. 7. No room safe and door locks are some of the easiest to break into from a safety standpoint (though, location appears to be in a pretty safe place.) No security was observed during our 4 day stay but may be present. 8. Game room, pool area (no hot tub), mini bar/restaurant, concession area, main lobby are all very nice, well equipped. Plenty of parking but don't expect to be close to your room and use main doors for elevator accesses.

Loved the hose in the shower as it enables thorough cleaning. Loved the options on TV. We watched many Christmas shows. The fridge kept our food cold.

Shuttle service was nice in that my mask was ruined shortly after getting on the bus and the driver provided me with a clean mask before dropping us off at Magic Kingdom. However shuttle service was confusing and frustrating as we assumed we would be picked up in the same place we were dropped off. As this was not the case, we waited in the rain for a half hour, finally getting a taxi that cost us 21.00.

Laundry was marginal as my husbands dress shirt was ruined. It is because LG washers don't use enough water in their wash cycles. This was the case when I used a brand new LG washer 20 years before. At that time, my clothes came out stinking more than before I washed them. Thinking things might have changed. I tried them only to be disappointed. This time my husband's dress shirt was ruined and my clothes did not come clean. When I told the front desk, they said to wait to talk to someone. I waited for a good half hour and no one showed up. I finally went to my room disappointed, as I was tired.

Breakfast was excellent with choice of proteins, fruit, juices. The eggs were great.

It would have been nice to have an onsite restaurant that was open every night. WE were only able to eat there once as it was closed the other two nights we were there. Being borderline diabetic, I need protein and vegetables. The sandwich I ordered had lots of bread, very little meat. I should have ordered it without bread.

I didn't use the pool when I was told it was kept at 83 degrees. I have arthritis and metal in both knees, so cold hurts my joints. I have been in lots of pools. 92 degrees is bathtub warm, but discourages a good work out because it is too warm. 83 degrees is too cold because even working hard, I am still cold. 87 degrees is about perfect for me and safety standards can still be maintained. Too warm water promotes bacteria.

We didn't have a car and were charged for parking even after we told the front desk we didn't have a car. Jim had to call to have this corrected. We are still waiting on that correction.

Added taxes and fees on hotels are exorbitant.

I would give Marriott a ten rating if, the cost for my husbands ruined shirt of $20.00, the taxi ride of $21.00 was reimbursed, the restaurant was open every night, pick up for the parks was the same place as drop off, and the...

I stayed at this hotel for a one-day trip to Epcot on 04/26. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from MCO airport. I arrived around 11 a.m. and was hoping for an early check-in, especially since I had called a week earlier and was told it was a possibility for an extra charge. When I got there, the hotel itself was very nice inside. I approached the check-in counter and asked the clerk if early check-in was available. She responded rudely, saying it wasn’t, with an unpleasant tone. I then asked if I could leave my bags there while I went to the park. I saw other travelers had left their bags, so I assumed it wouldn’t be an issue. She glanced around and said she wasn’t sure. She remained unreasonably rude throughout the interaction, so I told her I would leave my bags with the others on the wall. She rolled her eyes in response. After that awkward encounter, I went to the bathroom to change and returned to give my bags to a kind gentleman, then went on with my day.||Before leaving the hotel for the day, I stopped by the trips and excursions desk, where I was informed that I could take a shuttle back from the park and was given instructions to be at a specific area for pickup. When I arrived at the designated spot with the other travelers, we were all confused about which bus to board, as a nice charter bus was parked there but was not the one that would take us back to the hotel. About 20 minutes later, a small, rundown bus arrived to take us back. The bus was clearly not large enough to accommodate everyone waiting, and since this was the last bus, everyone had to squeeze on, making the situation extremely unsafe. As a paralegal, I immediately saw a potential lawsuit in the making. There was even one person standing right in front of the doorway, practically pressed against the glass. Something really needs to be done about that shuttle service because it was absolutely awful.||After checking into my room, I was impressed by how nice and spacious it was. The room was aesthetically pleasing and had a great vibe. However, when I got into the shower, I immediately noticed blonde and brown hair on the walls, along with dirt. Since my hair is red, I knew it wasn’t mine. This immediately grossed me out and made me wonder how clean the rest of the room was. Naturally, I started inspecting everything else to be sure. Despite the filthy shower and the rude clerk, the hotel itself is nice. It's in a great location, very close...

My family and I have stayed at this Marriott location a number of times over the last 3 years that we have been annual pass-holders at various theme parks in the area. We visit Orlando multiple times per year and Townplace Suites (usually this location) has always been our top choice of where to stay. On this visit, we stayed in the 2 bedroom family suite for 4 nights. The moment we checked in we noticed the room smelled of urine, particularly in the bedrooms. Additionally, every AC unit was making loud high pitch ringing noises. This whistling through the night made sleeping difficult. To address these issues, I immediately visited the front desk and was informed we could not change the room, and nothing could be done about the AC units, but that the smell would be remedied.

We have stayed in this type of room before and have never had this issue. Later that evening, the front area of the suite had been sprayed with deodorizer (which was not an issue) but the smell was not addressed and remained unchanged. Clearly the staff, opened the door, sprayed deodorizer, then left. We called the front desk to once again check if any rooms had come available and voice our concern over the lack of care regarding the urine smell. Unfortunately, we were again informed the weekend was booked, and we understood. We asked that the smell please be addressed as soon as possible.

The next day, nothing was addressed. It smelled horrible and was getting worse as the days went on. We spoke one more time to the front desk staff. She was apologetic and said I would be contacted by a manager the next day, and ensured the issue would be addressed. We asked that they attend to this with more than just deodorizer; that the one time they completed this, it wasn’t helping and the carpet needed to be cleaned.

On one of the days that housekeeping attended to our room, they took dirty silverware, cups, and plates out of the sink without washing them and placed them back in the kitchen drawers and cabinets. We were unable to use the dishwasher during the duration of our stay because when we opened it the first time, it smelled like rotten food. We continued to stay the next 4 nights in these disgusting conditions. This was the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced and we stayed in one of the largest rooms on property. I checked out without the issue ever having...
