This is a straight forward no emotion review. Arrived at 3AM on a Monday morning. The guy was not extremely friendly but warmed up as I was very nice to him. The first sight was the rug, which had a massive stain and was just cringeworthy. I got two extra sheets to put down on the floors. Easy fix but eh. In the morning (think it was just a fluke) the eggs were very salty, the rest of the breakfast was OK, but it was very carb and sugar heavy. Then I went back up to the room and I started noticing I had roommates. Stink Bug infestation. I called the front desk and was told there is nothing they can do it's a problem all over Kentucky. There were dead ones under the table where I was working and crawling all over the ceiling and curtains. I called the front desk to borrow a vacuum and after talking to the manager the girl switched my room. I was thankful but still a hassle. Whitney was very nice and really did all she could with a sincerity about her. It's sad that she had to deal with an embarrassing situation that she has no control over and no authority to fix. Anyway, the room was better, just a funky smell in the hallway on the 2nd floor. Another stain on the rug but much smaller...sheets I put down fixed the problem. I will say that in 3 days the elevator was not cleaned. Whoever was responsible for cleaning it sprayed some nice smelling stuff in there but the dirt and debris specks on the floor and the fingerprints on the walls were there the whole time. The last morning I went down to check out and load my car there was another girl standing on the customer side of the counter hanging out, looking at her phone, chatting with Whitney. In the 3 trips I made up and down she never moved. As someone who worked in various jobs in my 50+ years, never was it OK to stand around...there is always something to be done, like clean the elevator or the bars on the luggage carts, the possibilities are endless. I left with a sore back because the table in the room is very high in comparison to the chair and is really not a desk. It should be lower or the chair higher. The chair in room two was covered in a ton of hair which I picked off and washed my hands after...just didn't want to say anything again. I was on the side toward the back end in the first room, it was quiet. Second room was near the highway, which I wear two hearing aids so I was surprised when I took them off how loud the trucks and cars on the highway were. It was like the road was next to my window when it really was at least 700 feet away. Some of the pillows smelled fresh like just laundered pillowcases were put on, some smelled like old people clothes, you know that smell that you can't get out. Anyway, that's those are the facts about my stay. I can't say I would ever stay there again. I understand this is a very hard industry, but my thought is if you can't do it well, just...
Read moreGood morning, I have some extra charges on my credit card from your location. It first was for three charges of 399.99 then a charge for 133.33 and a charge for 266.66, then charged three more charges for 133.33 then after all those charges I was refunded the three charges for 399.99 but not for the 133.33 and the 266.66I would like to start by asking you to consider refunding my stay with my team. We booked your hotel for our travels across the us and came to stay at your place. We were running behind and called to make sure your staff knew we would be in late on arrival we checked in to your location thinking we are very tired and needed to get some rest. When we walked into our rooms and looked around we were in shock. The floor had noticeable stains, dirt on the wall, the bed looked as someone had just slept on it. The pillows are stained yellow, there is a hole on the floor by the first bed, the walls were badly repaired, and the shower had been used, the dresser had torn up tape on it and was dirty all around it. that was in the first room. The other rooms also had yellow stained pillows and were not clean. Here are some photos of the rooms and pillows We checked out the next morning after not getting any sleep we literally sat in the room in disbelief that this was the way we walked into our room. To find hair on the bed in the sheets and the bath tub completely wet with scum and hair in it. This was not ok. We had to go an hour north to find another hotel through choice hotels. I asked the question of the maid if they walked in and saw this would they stay here and they said no right away. I have now been charged $799.98 at your location which is over half of my original book price for three days with all four of my rooms. I can send you photos if...
Read moreWe checked in at the Quality Inn, Dry Ridge, KY on 5/31. I went back to the front desk to ask if a suite was available. I paid an additional $20/night and Carla switched us to a Suite. The bathroom smelled like urine. We found a dirty adult diaper in the bathroom trash can. We thought the trashcan may have just been missed when the room was cleaned, so we took the bag down to the front desk. We returned from dinner and played a game on one of the beds. Around 10:30pm, my daughter and her child got into the other bed. She got under the covers and immediately smelled urine very strongly. She jumped out of the bed, pulled back the covers, and discovered a HUGE urine spot. SHE LITERALLY JUST LAID DOWN IN A STRANGER'S PEE! How horrifying! I called Carla at the front desk. She immediately came to the room, pulled back the sheet and mattress pad to reveal a huge puddle of urine in the mattress. How does this happen! You trust that your room will be clean, and the beds are clean, but that was NOT the case. Carla then switched us to another room and apologized several times; she did what she could, what she was authorized to do. This was a major incident and Management never bothered to reach out to apologize or assure us this wouldn't happen again which was very disappointing. My daughter is traumatized; wouldn't anyone be? Very disappointing stay at this hotel. We were grossed out and wondered about the cleanliness of the entire hotel. Carla at the front desk was so nice and so accommodating, she was great-I give her 5 stars! As for the rest of our stay, one star...
