R T Outfitters — Local services in Dry Ridge

I will not be back to this place I have gave them plenty of money and I mean plenty. My 13 year old son worked and saved up money to buy a pair of boots. He has them for a couple weeks (red wings) and the padding shifted and the metal part is rubbing his foot. Took them back up there and was told it would be 6months they can send them out to have them fixed. We'll in the mean time what are we supposed to do? I was told "to buy another pair" umm sorry but in no way are we rich. I can't afford another pair and neither can my son. He works on the farm and in concrete. I call Redwing they say we'll take them back to the store and they can return them send them to us and we will give them the money back. Nope they still won't I've called the store been told they would call me and here today still no call they don't care they made their money and my son is screwed. And mind you the day we took them back he bought a 80.00 pair of pants but I can promise we will never buy another thing from them. And I'll make sure i let everyone know. Everyone I've spoke to says don't go there go to Falmouth. It's not like it use to be when Tim owned it. Redwing even laughed when I told her what they told me to do (buy another pair of boots) so before you get stuck with a pair of boots that are rubbing the shit out of your foot just know it isn't easy dealing with this store. And they did say they would send them off to be fixed but it would be 6months before they came back. Umm sorry we just paid over 200 and something and the boots wasn't even 30 days old. . Again this store has went down ever since Tim sold it. And I highly suggest you watch buying from them. The Redwing lady even said they was so high on their prices and horrible for not returning things. Rt outfitters told me it cost them to send the boots back. So that tells you they are only worried about themselves not their customers. I will also be contacting bbb and letting everyone know. Been told twice the Manger would call me never did that happen and even waited for the Manger to come to the store was told she would be there for a hour never did she show up I had to to leave for work. .all in all I'm so disappointed in this store if I could a no star I would. Makes me wonder would they be ok if their child's boot was showing metal and rubbing their toes or would they want something done and not wait 6months or be told to buy another pair ... just bad business if you ask me. LOVE this store!! They have gorgeous boots and a big selection of both male and female items. The store is set up so cute. There are so many unique items for your home or to get as gifts that you just dont see elsewhere. The employees are so sweet and treat everyone like a good friend or a family member. They also will assist in helping find something you want when they don't have it in stock. You dont get all the above just anywhere! So you know where...
