Lebeda Mattress Factory — Hotel in Dubuque

After deciding it was time for a new and bigger mattress on a whim we dropped into this Lebeda Store. We were both familiar with their jingle and local factory but assumed that meant expensive. As we walked in I thought for sure we were wasting our time. The store has a very high end look. Rich woods and beautiful atmosphere. The checkout stand looked like a martini bar hangout. We went a head and did some looking finding the mattress closest to what we had and liked. The manager came over and walked us through the system, you pick your style and it’s custom built for you with any details you prefer. Special toppers or specific box spring height. They delivered and set everything up within a few days turn around? Waiting for some price tag shock we were very shocked! These mattress were reasonable. We lived outside of town so delivery was $50 extra but we did get a free protector valued at more. We checked out similar mattress at other well loved stores. Not only were they higher priced they were also sold by folks trained in furniture, not so much mattresses. The differences in what other stores had to offer were same brands but different price tiers. Lebeda on the other hand has several completely differently built with different materials. Once you knew what style, materials and feel you wanted the cost was straight forward. At Lebeda we sat and picked from 3 “feels” of mattress that fit our needs. With those same details at each of the other mattress stores we would be shown 8-12 mattresses with no way to compare besides prices. All kinds of terms and descriptions that no one could really explain. The kicker: all of those other stores were nearly double the cost with no guarantees. Lebeda offers the chance to return with any issues and they will rework your very mattress to fix it to your comfort level. Maybe add a topper or something of the sort. They will make your bed right for you. For example the bed we ordered didn’t have much space to hide a box spring so I ordered the 5 inch box spring but once the bed was delivered it sat very low and we really needed a taller box spring. No questions asked Lebeda came out and switched the box springs for us with in days! Free of charge minus our delivery expense which was totally fine with us and worth it. They use a texting program to verify and confirm down to a 30 minute window for delivery and also just to be sure your satisfied. I called the Dubuque Lebeda store last night inquiring if they delivered in Northwestern Illinois. I called specifically because I had purchased two Lebeda mattresses while living in Central Illinois. I was very happy with the Lebeda quality. I talked with Angie, the store manager, on the phone. She was very helpful and told me that they would be delivering to a neighboring community in a few days. She proceeded to help me by informing me of Lebeda’s latest line of mattresses. Her input was very helpful when selecting. She told me that I could come to the store to look them over in person. She told me that she would forward my information on to Christina at the store because she may not be in when I came. Today, I arrived at the store and was greeted kindly by Christina. She did , in fact, know of my conversation with Angie. She showed me the mattresses that Angie had suggested to me. The store was spotless clean, and the care taken to insure safety was carried out throughout my visit. Christina explained to me how the mattresses were put together and the features that made them different. With her help, my selection was easy. I am very pleased to recommend this store and Christina and Angie. Both were kind and professional. I look forward to the delivery of my new mattress. Christina Bardell was so helpful over the phone choosing a mattress for our needs. She even went to the Big Boss to learn more about a mattress that is similar to ours now, as it has lots of years on it. Then we also discussed an incline mattress for head and feet with power base in a queen. Again Christina went above and beyond to recommend a website to learn about the base and features, as well as looking at a Heritage Pillowtop mattress. She stayed later to allow my husband to try out the incline to determine if it was high enough for his sleep apnea. He liked it after trying and ordered it with the massage in mattress. I called her back after hours and another person answered the phone, so I really knew then that Lebeda's staff go ABOVE & BEYOND!! Christina was finalizing our order and I just confirmed that the massage was ordered, too. I then ordered sheets and a mattress protector over phone, which she took time after hours to place!! Christina is a true asset to Lebeda!! The bed will be delivered next Monday, with free delivery and setup. They also will take the mattress and box spring for a 10.00 fee. I'm looking forward to a comfortable night's sleep on my Heritage Pillowtop and Bedgear power base with the anti-snore, zero gravity and massage features.
