I do not write reviews - ever - but I hope to save others from wasting their money and time on eating at this restaurant. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in recent memory (or in my lifetime.) We came here tonight about 8:00 PM for a late dinner after our respective long work days. Exhausted and hungry, we were hoping for a nice meal. Boy, were we in for a let down.
The service was abysmal and that is being generous. I understand being a server is often a difficult and thankless job and I always try to take this into consideration when I have a less than satisfactory experience at a restaurant. However, nothing redeeming can be said for this server. The restaurant was not crowded. There were maybe ten tables and ample servers. Our server had three tables. While she was friendly enough in verbage, her body language spoke otherwise. She slammed down drinks on the table, did not provide straws, rushed through everything about taking our orders, did not bring salad dressing with either mine or my husband's salad, we had no silverware, drinks were empty for the entire meal, no tartar sauce with the fish despite multiple requests.
The salad greens tasted unwashed. There was a hair in my fish. Coleslaw was inedible and tasted like someone had poured a gallon of vinegar on a bowl of cabbage and left it to sit at room temperature for the afternoon. Never once did the server come by to ask how the food was or even stop long enough for us to ask for something different, etc. I was only able to eat the fries and the cheddar biscuits. After the terrible food and an empty glass and no refill for 30 minutes - despite the server REPEATEDLY walking by and ignoring us - I finally got up and walked to the front of the restaurant to summon the manager. There, I was greeted by no employees to help, but there were two at the bar on their cell phones that did not bother to look up. Finally, a friendly, smiling young guy came to check on me. He was the only bright spot in the evening and I wish I had caught his name.
I asked if there was a manager on duty and he gladly got him from the back. He had on no name tag and did not offer his name, other than to say he was the manager. When I told him it was the worst dining experience I had in a long time and the server was rude and inattentive, he walked to our table with me and offered to remake our now cold dishes (which had gotten cold waiting on silverware and other basics.) While the food was better cooked and hair-free and accompanied by tartar sauce the second time around, I was so frustrated I could barely enjoy it. The manager offered us a free dessert of cheesecake, but there was no mention of refunding our cold meals. He also reprimanded the server while we were still dining and she came to the table making a very awkward and insincere apology.
After her on the job scolding, the service only got worse, in that she took an inordinate amount of time to bring us the free, mediocre dessert and even longer to bring the check. She also never cleaned any dishes away from the table. It was literally stacked with salad bowls, plates, empty drink cups. She seemed completely indifferent to us and seemed quite attentive to her other three tables. The manager never came back by to ask if there was anything else he could do.
Bottom line: this is the last place I will ever spend our hard-earned money at again. Don't make the same mistake we did by dining at this location. The only thing worth the trip was the cheddar biscuits. Sorely disappointed and will not be dining at Red Lobster ever again. A...
Read moreDuluth Ga. Excellent atmosphere. As soon as I walked in, I as greeted with a smile. The staff was splendid from the front entrance to my table. My waiter was adamant that he wanted me to have an exquisite experience and I did. I also, watched as staff waited on other tables and their, attire/ uniform, detail in grooming and overall cleanliness was exceptional. Myself and other tables were being served as if we were all celebrities/royalty. The greeting, ambience, cleanliness of restaurant, the appropriate conversations and demeanor from staff was outstanding. Now, the food. I ordered the Seafood boil. It was cooked at the perfect temperature and seasoned perfectly per my request.
The manger came to my table to assure my experience was delightful. I expressed freely in detail my experience, ending it with my observations of exemplary performance of the staff and how he (Lamar) has set the standards high for the reopening of other Red Lobsters.
I am grateful to know Red Lobster does exist any many places. I would like all of the Red Lobsters that have closed to have the opportunity to reopen. My advice is a manager leads by example and the staff is or should be “GREATER” than their manager. Thank you for leading by example and training your staff to be culturally competent. Thank you, (Lamar).
I TIPPED very well, because it was deserving. I like being treated with kindness. I am always overwhelmed and eager to TIP when my waitstaff is concerned about my experience being the BEST and my TIP lets them know it is much appreciated.
Thank you, (Jeremi) I tell people, NEVER judge a book by its cover, give everyone the kindness, the royal treatment, the best service regardless of how they look.
Think about it like this…… Jesus was a carpenter, his garments were beggarly, and rag-like.
Treat people as if you don’t know from whom your “BLESSINGS” flow. Duluth is highly recommended.

Read moreHorrible , absolutely horrible experience on the night of July 10th at red lobster in pleasant hill. In one word terrible. ordered four steaks, out of them three was not in desired consistensy. medium became medium rare and what not. On top of that, they changed one steak for us, and brought in an even worse one. at the end of the day we could not even eat three steak at all out of four.Ordered pasta and it came out sooo bad that 6 of us could not even eat it. Four people foood came early like 15 mins early, and three people kept waiting for their food for atleast 15 mins altho we came as a family as a group. The wednesday lobster surf and turf, never ever try it please. this cannot be the texture of a lobster neither should it taste like that. It was so blend that it felt like raw. At one point, we had to ask who is the chef and does he even know how to cook. and guess what, among all these things happeninh there was a lady “standing” manager who did not show up for even one time and never even addressed our concern even a bit. She was just standing at the front podium looking at her phone the entire time knowing that we (6 adults) customer are having such a terrible mind bogling experience. The restaurant was almost empty so none of the people working was even that busy. This is by far, the most horrible experience we ever had in any restaurants in the entire georgia and we all live here for more than 10 plus years. What a waste of money(more than $250), what a waste of a family dinner and what a scam they are playing with customers. I would like to report that particular manager and that particular person who cooked our food( cant believe it can be real chef) to the high officials and urge them not to rip off people by serving these kind of horrible food and give these kind of cheapeat and poor...
