Went for pedicures with a friend ended up with my feet severely infected from bad practices and technician not listening to my direction. We were greeted by the receptionist who asked what we were coming in for. After finding they didnāt have anyone to work on us she asked us to come back in 30 min. We returned in 25 min just behind a group of 3 other women. When we walked in we were told to wait again because those new clients that walked in ahead of us took the spots we were coming back for. Unfortunately we decided to stay and wait as this was our girls day that we only get a few times a year together. As they began to set us up it became clear there was only one tech and one of us would have to sit and wait instead of getting our services at the same time. The tech started on me first. I expressed what I was there for and what I wanted then sat back as tried to relax and talk with my friend. There is one practice that I specifically asked NOT be done on my feet. She said she understood. They use cuticle nippers to cut the nail down the sides, making the nail narrower as it comes off the toe. I was in this industry for many years and that is something that is known to only cause problems. She did it on the first toe and I reminded her not to do it just in case she didnāt know what I meant when I explained it. Again on the very next toe, this time she cut it so close to the nail bed that it hurt. When I jumped she said sorry but proceeded to do it again on the other side so I reminded her that I didnāt want that done on any of my toes. Again, she said she understood. Clearly she did not. She did it on 7 of 10 toes and every time I told her that was the thing I said not to do. Only to be told sorry and do it again. I went home angry and in extreme pain. Today I have infections on all 7 of toes. I wish I could stop payment to cover my dr visit and rx. I will tell anyone who will listen...

I went here out of convenience. Iāve been getting my nails done for 18 years and this is the worst experience Iāve ever had, and the most expensive. The nail tech cut my nails down, just a little bit, as requested, then proceeded to file them down to nothing. (My natural nails were long⦠I never wear super short nails⦠They look like soccer mom nails .) I had to request that she stop using the Dremel on my nails because she was tearing up my cuticles with it and they were bleeding. My fingers and nails were irritated for days afterwards. She said she would do a fill-inā¦. after I agreed and we got started she decided to do a FULL SET in order to charge me more and completely changed what we were doing (acrylic pink and white became a pink and white powder set)
I told her the color of the pink was way too bright and didnāt look natural on my skin tone. I always get the same natural look (like what I came in with.) This nail technician then attempted to paint over the pink and white powder with light pink nail polish⦠It looked horrible and uneven, and like a child painted in my fingernails⦠she realized it wasnāt going to work and filed it off of my nails as well, further irritating them.
I was upfront about how dissatisfied I was. It seems like this nail salon has this issue a lot. They have signs posted everywhere that they will not do refund, and that you can come back in a few days if you donāt like your service. Donāt ever go here! Save your money! For a pedicure with gel, and the nails, they charged me 150. Iāve never paid that much anywhere else in Gwinnett. The pedicure was good, but the nails were horrible, and I have to get them redone. Waste of time and money, and ruined my natural nail until...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas really looking forward to getting my nails done as part of my experience at Jeju Sauna. Unfortunately, this salon dropped the ball. When we first arrived, the woman at the front desk completely ignored us - she was on her phone and seemed really disinterested in helping us. They asked us to come back after 15 minutes, and when we did, we waited another 25 before finally being attended to. By then, I noticed they started on someone who came in after us. The staff took us to our chairs without putting the liner in the tub or filling it up, and then he went to work on another client. Seemingly forgetting about us, we were waiting there for another 10 minutes or so. The salon's environment is not relaxing - the chairs are uncomfortable and you're seated very close to one another. They also had the news on, which I thought was a weird choice for someone trying to relax.
Finally, they started on our pedicures. I noticed they didn't sterilize the tools, and they also skipped parts of the written description for the service - they didn't do any massaging. They forgot to put a top coat on my friend.
We initially planned a mani/pedi, but we couldn't get out of there fast enough. When we checked out, the staff tried to convince us to do a manicure as well. I cannot imagine what it would be like getting waxed here, it is crowded, dirty, and uninviting. I'm not normally the type of person to leave a critical review for a small business, but the pedicure was priced at $35, which is more than my regular salon for an uncomfortable experience. Had I read the reviews before, I would not have gone. This was the single worst salon experience I've ever had, and I will not be spending any money there on future...
