Mattress Firm Egg Harbor Outlet Center — Hotel in Egg Harbor Township

Purchased a mattress on May 6th. Salesman named Pat was nice and helpful. After laying on several mattresses, the one we liked the best was out of our price range. Pat worked with us to keep the price of the mattress within our budget. We left feeling like we got a great deal. Delivery was the next day. Right away we both noticed that our mattress was a lot firmer than the "same" mattress in the store. We tried to get used to this mattress for 2 weeks, but decided that it wasn't something we were willing to live with. We went back to the store and told Pat that we wanted an exchange. Pat again worked with us to help us to get another mattress. I had to pay an extra $192 which I was okay with being that the new one was a little more expensive. We got delivery the next day. Again we noticed that this new mattress was firmer than the one in the store. Also came to find out from my bank that I was charged the $192 twice. When I called the store, I was told that they would look into this and get back to me right away. After waiting 3 days with still no call from them I had to call them again. This was finally straightened out. Will never buy there again. I feel bad for Pat. He is a good guy and I think none of this was his doing. I think this...

Came in here with my boyfriend with just the intention of checking out prices quickly before i had to be in work. The associate made sure to greet us even tho he was busy with another sale. i didn’t want anything fancy, nothing memory foam or pillow top. We saw that they had a great promo going for Queen sized beds, so when i found one way below our original price range we decided to purchase on the spot. The sales mans name was John, he did show us other options but i explained i just wanted a thinner queen sized because i like using memory foam bed toppers, personal preference. Most stores like this i feel kind of try to pressure you into a higher sale, but he was completely understanding of what i wanted, why i wanted it and even helped us find a better deal on a whole set and delivery.! The process was fairly quick, in and out in about 15/20 mins. Perfect because i wasnt expecting to buy, so we didn’t have much time. He also let us know if we’re unsatisfied for whatever reason they will work with us to upgrade. Overall very positive experience and will certainly be back and recommend to friends for any mattresses needs....

Customer service is awful and so is the mattress. Their customer service agent convinced me I needed the medium firm not the firm I had in my cart. Then tells me no worries there’s an easy 120 sleep trial so you can exchange if needed. Well she failed to explain they want $100 to pick up the mattress and yes I asked if the fee could be waived if I delivered it to a store location nope. And they want to take 10% off what I paid for restocking. So I basically get half my money back as a credit to buy another one. I weigh 125lbs 5’2” I sleep a max of 6 hours. In 3 days I was in a pothole. Oh but they say we need you to give it a chance for 3 weeks. To what regain its fluff?? So now I’m home from back surgery and this mattress is awful and painful. And if I want to just return it they take the $100 and 15% off and I’m left with the change. If she had been up front about this I would’ve done more due diligence looking into this mattress rather then taking a stranger oh wait I’m sorry sleep experts opinion. I wouldn’t even give this painful thing to anyone. Awful customer service...
