I made a reservation for April 3, 2025, a week in advance. On the day of my stay, I completed mobile check-in around 3 PM. When I arrived at the hotel around 11 PM, I was informed by the host, Benjamin, that my room was not available due to a plumbing issue. I asked if the alternate room that was offered during mobile check-in was available instead, but was told it had the same issue. The hotel was fully booked with no other rooms available, leaving me stranded at 11 PM on a Saturday night in the middle of nowhere. I had to make alternate arrangements on my own. I asked Benjamin as to why no one contacted me throughout the day and he blamed the day host Jahim for not contacting me. So they knew about the situation all day and no one picked up the phone and they still allowed me to check-in on the app.
Benjamin offered to credit back the points I had used to book the room — which, frankly, is the bare minimum. Later, I received an email at 1:32 PM stating that I had cancelled my reservation late and might be charged. I contacted Customer Service the next day, and they offered me 10,000 points — not even 1/5th the value of a one-night stay. I was also told the property’s GM would follow up with a call, which I highly doubt will happen.
I declined the points, saying Hilton needs them more than I do. As a Gold Member who travels 20+ weeks a year, I’ve come to expect a higher level of service. Sadly, Hilton is not what it used to be.

However when we arrived our parties staying for a wedding were told that we did not have rooms available even tho we reserved 6 months earlier as part of a wedding block. We were told we were called and emailed telling us this before arrival and that we agreed to the change of hotel but we were not notified nor would we have agreed to a change of hotels as was suggested by management. Front end staff worked to correct managements overbooking and our parties received a room however not the king beds that we requested 6 mos prior. We were willing to overlook this room issue as the front end employee worked to accommodate us with a queen bed( not the king beds we reserved )however I then came to find out that a special gift bag I left with the hotel manager to deliver to my sons room for his wedding night was never received. I called to complain about the room issue but was more upset about the gift bag. No solution was suggested by the wedding co-ordinator regarding the gift bag other than she would ask the “room man” if he delivered it. Really? It contained a very expensive bottle of champagne and numerous other home made irreplaceable items. WE SUSPECT THE BAG WAS DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ROOM. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST WEDDING PARTIES BOOK at this venue. If they overbook you won’t be assured a room. Read moreStayed here after having poor experiences at Homewood Suites in Egg Harbor Township a few miles up the road. Wasn't sure about this location but it ended up being great. Not unsafe at all and easy to get into and out of the parking lot to Fire road or Tilton road. The room was very clean and had a nice smell. Easy to control HVAC. Bathroom was very nice and clean (toilet paper could be a little closer to the toilet), great water pressure and the hot water was almost instant. Nice having a refrigerator and microwave and both were clean. Has a safe, iron, hair dryer. Ice was on first floor not on each floor, but not a huge issue. Lots of plug ins and USB ports. Could use more lighting. Front desk person, Sheree, was great to deal with and very pleasant, helped me logon to Wifi when it wouldn't connect in my room. Breakfast was good, eggs bland, but the rest was fine and plenty of seating and the lady handling breakfast was nice, kept the area clean and filled things up fast. Elevators are fast and had no issues with waiting. Hallways are clean and bright. Was a very nice experience and would stay there again for sure. I don't understand some of the reviews (without comments by the way, that rate this hotel as a 1/5. If it's that bad, say something).
