We loved our stay at The Brownstone Inn! We didn't know what to expect from an "Inn". This was our second time staying in Eureka Springs and now we won't stay anywhere else besides The Brownstone Inn. It was the perfect blend of old Victorian Style with modern touches of home. The room smelled clean, not old and stale like some older homes. The whole place was spotless.||The bed and linens were so comfortable! My husband doesn't sleep well anywhere except our own home and he slept great! The jacuzzi tub was amazing! Bath tub salts were provided and there was even mood lighting. The shower was also nice with 3 shower heads. Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner were provided as well as shower loufas, which we were not expecting and was a very nice surprise. A hairdryer was also provided which was great because I forgot to bring one. ||In the sitting room there was a basket of goodies and snacks awaiting our arrival. There was also a mini fridge filled with ozarka water (of course) and a variety of soda. There was a flat screen television with cable and many channels which we watched before going to bed. There was also a DVD player set up. Our stay was also made very comfortable by the modern nest thermostat. It was so easy to use, we liked it so much we are going to buy one for our own home. ||In the parlor, there was a variety of breakfast foods set up and a full kitchen for the guests to use. The homemade blueberry muffins and Amish friendship bread was also amazing! Like your bread warmed up with a little butter on it? Theres a microwave in the kitchen and butter set out. There were also plenty of board games and a good selection of dvds for guest use. ||Riley helped us even before we arrived to make sure we could get a hold of him on an alternative line when his main phone line was not working properly. I left notes for Jeanie who cleaned the room and she answered all my questions in a timely manner. Truly such sweet and...
Read moreThe Good. Historic old building with tall ceilings and old charm. We stayed in the Innkeeper suite, smallest of the rooms; great bed, nice sitting area, well appointed, nice shower, outside patio area with table and chairs, elevated deck area with nice shade trees, tables and chairs, big common area with a kitchen, dining table and lounge with lots of books. The Bad. The sink is tiny. No microwave in the room so don't let your coffee get cold. The common area is around the other side of the Inn up two flights of stairs; don't forget your key. Climate control was problematic. AC worked fine but no heat. The tables and chairs outside the room were dirty and we had to wipe them down. The Ugly. Not a great location. Really at the far end of town . Worse, it's at the bottom of the hill. Everything is up and quite a ways at that. Located very near to the main road. Lots of car noise and lots of bikers cruising by. Sitting area has a great view of some high...
