My family and I stopped in on vacation for a sweet treat. We walked in with our 6 young children, and were immediately met with a look of terror from the lady behind the counter. I thought it was a little strange since the place was primarily an ice cream shop and was decorated with childlike decor, but we went along with it. Our 4-year-old daughter accidentally dropped her milkshake on a rug by the front door and the lady behind the counter acted like we had just killed her cats in cold blood. We felt horrible, scrambling around to try and help, but the lady made it very clear that we were not welcomed in her establishment. No one offered to make my daughter a new shake, and we left with my daughter in tears over the whole debacle. The ice cream was bluebell brand, nothing special, and I am disgusted with the complete lack of customer service. Do yourselves a favor, go to the local grocery store and buy a pint of ice cream. This place isn’t worth it.
