If I could sum it up in one word: Perfection. Doug greeted us during our check in on Friday, and he was extremely kind and knowledgable of the B&B, Eureka Springs, and of all the restaurants in the area. He made us feel right at home from in the first 30 seconds of walking through the door. Our room was the Treetop Suite, and it had everything we ever could have asked for. We awoke to the smell of coffee and breakfast cooking. Upon arriving into the morning room, we were greeted by Beverly and her wonderful personality and incredible breakfast. I could write a review on breakfast alone that would be 5 pages of how it felt like we were eating at a 5 star restaurant. We enjoyed our cup of coffee on the wraparound patio that led to a beautifully terraced garden that we shared with several deer and a few uniquely colored squirrels.
Doug and Beverly; you have done the most amazing job at making us feel like we were part of the family during our weekend stay. The atmosphere was enchanting, and this combat vet enjoyed our morning talks and friendly interactions with the other guests during breakfast.
The only thing I would complain about was having to leave today. Thank you so much, and we will definitely be making reservations...
Read moreA wonderful experience. Staying at Arsenic and Old Lace is a destination in and of itself. Eureka Springs is a favorite vacation spot for my family. The town is exceptional but you could stay at Arsenic and Old Lace and not leave accept to eat your dinner meals. Doug and Beverly have tended to every detail to ensure that their guests have an unparalleled experience. I love that Doug and Beverly are always working to save water and resources without compromising a 5 star experience. Amenities include but are not limited to gift shop items available for purchase, a special breakfast with a fruit dish and homemade bread, soda and water anytime during the stay, cookies or afternoon snack, area attraction information, in-room jetted tubs, large showers (some with 2 shower heads), views of garden spaces, and so much more. This couple love what they do and it shows. As guests of the inn, they welcome you and give you all the attention that you request and when you need time to privately enjoy your stay, they have set the perfect environment for relaxation. Try the luxury bathrobes for use in your room. They feel so soft! I'm not sure what my favorite part of my visit to Arsenic and Old Lace was because every bit...
Read moreMy wife and I just spent the last 4 days in this WONDERFUL bed and breakfast, and we loved every minute of it! We stayed in the Monet and loved every minute of our visit. The room was immaculate and well kept. The private bath was spacious with a massive shower, and a Jacuzzi tub that my wife absolutely loved. The rest of the inn is also extremely well kept. Breakfast was a highlight of the day every morning. (and the coffee they serve was great too!) Further adding to the experience was the garden, in which at any time of day you could count on a variety of local squirrels, birds, chipmunks, and deer. Doug and Beverly are wonderful hosts and super helpful. Doug has a wealth of knowledge about the area and can provide guests with any number of recommendations, all of which lived up to our expectations. They will also go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. I requested that Doug leave some hot water and a couple of mugs down for us in the evening for tea. When we went down to the kitchen we found not only the water, but a full array of teas, sugars, cream, and hot chocolate. This kind of above and beyond is what sets them apart! I would highly recommend this B&B, and will likely return...
