Lucky Wok — Restaurant in Fernandina Beach

Ordered a delivery order from Lucky Wok. Was told by the lady on the phone the order would take 30 minutes to be delivered. An hour passed , still no order.. I call the restaurant to see if my food was ever on the way. I'm constantly put on hold to see where the order is. After about 15 extra minutes , I proceeded to just tell them to send over a refund and keep the order. They didn't want to give me a refund , just constantly kept asking could I give the driver 5 more minutes. I said No. Just please send over the refund. Refund is sent. Delivery driver finally arrives. I told the delivery driver I already received a refund so he can just take the food. He got upset stating he was on time and maybe the caller was confused. I told him I understand all of that but I still dont want the food. The food is most likely cold now and everybody knows Chinese food is only good when hot. He stormed off, blurting out curse words. I just proceeded to close my door. I've previously had a bad experience with the food from this restaurant but I decided to give them another try , figuring maybe they just were having an off day. But after today , I will no longer be patronizing Lucky Wok. People should learn to be honest. If you are busy , say that. If delivery is an hour or more , say that. I ordered yesterday 2 Menues plus 2 Spring Rolls after a long day at the beach i didnt feel like driving so i choose to deliver at to the hotel. Comfort Suites 2,8 miles delivery my total was 22,03 plus taxes and delivery fee 27,03. I looked today at my credit card statement and it showed 36,49 ??? I called and got told they charge a 20% tip. I signed the bill for 27,03 and not for 36,49 .... And I wrote the amount down. This is fraud because even with a 30% tip I didn't come at this amount. I didn't mind to give a tip to a driver but first he ignored me and second he didn't even had the courtesy to put his phone down, when he handed me my food ,he continued his private conversation on his phone while handing me my food so no tip for your driver. There was no forks or napkins in the bag but tons of sauce. I had to go and get some so that we didn't had to eat with our fingers. I absolutely adore this Chinese restaurant in Fernandina Beach. It is so hard to find an affordable delicious spot on the island. My parents and I had never been here before and due to the snow and all the other restaurants being closed we drove around looking for anywhere that was open. Lucky Wok was the only Restaurant that was open that we could see and we are so glad we stumbled upon it. This is a one of a kind, mom and pop Chinese restaurant with delicious food and an amazing lunch special that runs from 11 AM to 3 PM for $8.99. We had the chicken lo mein and then we had the sesame chicken and then we had the seafood Dish and it was all delicious. We cannot wait to go again and try more of their delicious food. The service was superb, friendly, and felt truly genuine. We dined in and our food only took about five minutes to prepare, and it was fresh and tasty.
