UF Health Family Medicine - Amelia Island — Local services in Fernandina Beach

The Amelia Island Clinic is the friendliest, most patient, very caring, staff of nurses, medical assistants I have encountered and I am 58 with many years of health issues, heart condition leading to 3 heart surgeries at Baptist Heart yes I got jacked around the heart is good the surgery healing not so much had to have the 2 additional one to cut off dead tissue on incision and place wound vac, the third to remove the hardware because it had caused an infection in my sternum so my incision finally healed after 3 years 😱 Type 1 Diabetes, I was hit by a semi 7 years ago and fell/passed out fell into wall and they did imaging in April at BAPTIST ER I was told U if F had no beds so they were going to send me to some place I never heard of I made a call to the Amelia office and talked to the nurse who said Dax could see me when they opened..Dax did. Dax saw me on Wed and had me come in on Thurs to see Dr Coleman because of my imaging from April and the symptoms which after him looking at them doing them physical exam he discovered a fluid pocket and what would cause the increased dizziness, numbness in left arm, major migraine pain increase and nausea, all the meds the heart Dr had given me hadn’t worked so I stopped taking them when he added a new one I mean they were not working in a 1 HOUR VISIT DR COLEMAN gave me answers that no one else could- FINALLY A CLINIC I WOULD TRUST WITH MY LIFE TODAY Jerlisa was so kind and friendly listening to my story of throwing up all night and being out of my nausea meds early. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. ...

The front office staff and medical assistant were lovely. I would avoid seeing Lucia Lintner APRN as she would not let me even finish explaining why I was there before she cut me off more than 3x. Lucia, if you cannot enter an exam room with a new patient while having an open mind, please change your profession. It takes a lot of guts to go out and seek help for mental health only to be totally dismissed. Would not recommend this entitled woman to anyone. She assumed she knew more about me and my body than I did after speaking to me for less...

Horrible, they have my test results and keep saying providers are too busy so they call to reschedule my appointments. No one can read my results. They say providers are on vacation or have other obligations and for some reason I keep being put off and this has been going on since October 2022. I had an appointment tomorrow once again and they just called me to say one provider is on vacation, the provider I have schedule has surgeries tomorrow and can't see me, and there's one provider that will be available but they are...
