Where do I start. First, the hotel is old, needs renovating. The room need a serious deep clean. Also our sheets were full of hair when we pulled them to lay down. It was disgusting. I had to pick them off one by one so we could lay down as we were tired from traveling. The price for the room is not worth it. Over 120 dollars to receive a room with no microwave or mini fridge. We travel a lot because of soccer tournaments so we have stayed in plenty of hotel rooms. So here comes the big one. There was a couple of soccer teams staying in this hotel for the night. A few parents and kids were in the lobby around 9pm-10pm watching the Longhorn game. The lady at the front counter, Delois, came and turned the tv down and told us this wasn't a bar. Everyone was shocked and did not understand why she would do something like that. We were not being loud and our kids, (8 year old girls) were sitting at the table playing with slime and dolls, not running around, not screaming, or causing problems. She told us if we didn't quiet down she would call the cops on us. We have been to many hotels before and this has never happened to us. We teach our children better than that. So we told the girls to not even talk and to sit on the floor instead of the table and play, they did that for a few minutes but they were tired. So all of us soccer moms took them to the rooms to get some rest. The next morning, the parents that stayed watching the game said the cops sure did show up and Delois came out running and told them it was ok, they went upstairs already. Seriously???!!! You are going to call the cops on 8 year old girls???!!! Even more so when they weren't doing anything?! How low is that? Other parents from other teams also told us there were several older kids running in and out of the pool and down the hall in front of the receptionist area but Delois did not tell them anything. It seemed like she knew these people. The next morning when I came to talk to her about it, I received nothing but sarcasm and a not caring attitude. It was very frustrating. I told her this will be the first and last time we stay here and she said, you gotta do what you gotta do and I gotta do what I gotta do. Unbelievable!!! The other soccer teams, who I might mention are rivals of ours also agreed that they will never return to this hotel because of her and calling the cops on 8 year old girls. Pathetic!!! Note to teams traveling to Arlington for games DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDDOS TO...
Read moreWe Arrived 30min before actual Check-In, asked if maybe our room was ready. Lady at the front desk didn't even want to check just said no check in is at 3. Ok fine maybe she was having a bad day, so 3pm comes and we ask her to check us in, says room is not ready she has to wait on Housekeeping to give her the go ahead 4/10/2021. Fine we leave and go do what we need to do. Get back to Hotel at 5:45, they give us our room key, get to the room, and it's not the one we reserved with 2 beds, (ugh), so now go back downstairs and see what the problem is. The Teenager behind the desk says there is nothing he can do they are sold out, and that is what their system has us under, there is also a Lady behind the desk also proceeds to tell me the same thing. After having a few words with them, and not leaving they finally call the manager. This takes another 30mins and they Finally give us a room with 2 beds. The room is supposed to be non-smoking, and boy does it smell, at this point we don't complain since they basically can't do anything. We also found a pair of women's heels in the room, so we know that was not cleaned properly. They have the worst customer service associates behind the Desk. We are Hilton Members, and most definitely will not be back at all if we can avoid it. They also don't care if you are Members and whatever tier your on since we didn't get greeted from the start and No Water either. Minor complaints compared to the room, and the interaction with the front Desk. Avoid this Hotel if you don't like smelly rooms, Toilet leaks, and Bad customer service, and Housekeeping not...
Read moreYou have to request maid service the day before to get it, so they tell you. Maid knocks as she walks in on me, waking me up, when I hadn't requested room service. The manager, Elijah Rodriguez, calls me back after I complained to the front desk in order to lecture me on how this was ok and my fault. So if you have any issues, this is the treatment you'll get from management.||||That being said...If you value sleep at all, this is not the place for you. The traffic sounds are so loud it's astounding! Even when not trying to sleep it's so loud that it actually feels stressful after a while. It's the main reason this gets such a low rating. We've stayed at other Hampton Inns but this was unfortunately the lowest quality one. The room was dated but clean. The jacuzzi isn't working and apparently hasn't in over 2 years, so they clearly don't have any plans of fixing it. The pool isn't heated. Most of the staff were great and very helpful, except for Lawanika, who was rude with a serious attitude and was very unhelpful with some issues we encountered at check in with our reservation. The breakfast is good. There is very little in the area for food other than fast food, except for one very special restaurant, Sunny's, just down the street. If you do have to stay here, go there to eat! We had to stay here for a week for business and it was not very pleasant, mainly because of the awful traffic noise, and the horrible treatment from...
