Update: I received a call right away from someone in management promising to give more training to the employee. I trust this issue will be settled and we will be visiting again tonight to buy some more brake pads. Thanks for contacting me and taking I Tereso in bettering customer experience. This is my second time coming to this store. It is not a stretch to say this is the very worst autozone I have ever been to in my life. I’ve used autozone in over a dozen states.
First off both times we were given very little attention or help. The first time we needed a brake bleeder valve and they said the computer says they don’t have it. Every store I’ve been in has had some hanging in the customer shopping area. They didn’t even care to look and told us another store had them but we’re closing in a few minutes. We went next door to O’Rileys and they were extremely helpful and even opened a package to make sure it was the same size and thread pattern.
Today we came to autozone to get bolt extractor sockets. There wasn’t anyone else in the store. Two men at the counter and we got there about 9:30 pm tonight. Eventually he pointed to an empty spot and said they were out. Didn’t offer to see if we needed more help and failed to see what we needed was actually in stock and next to the empty spot. We left to go to O’Rileys and had another very helpful and engaging experience. We’re we’re shown 3 different types of tool sets and given recommendation as to which one would best fix our issue. They then got us the correct oil drain plug for our car. We just arrived back to the shop and we will have this job done no thanks to this autozone. Read moreI went in yesterday to get oil change and wipers for my pickup. Went in the first time and asked Yolanda to look up the wipers for me and she told me the ones I needed and I went to grab them while she grabbed the oil filter. left and went about doing my oil change. Wrong wipers. Went back and told her she got me the wrong ones, right off the bat she caught an attitude. "They fit the model you told me you had!" I told her again what I had and she looked it up again "you must have grabbed the wrong ones" no...I grabbed the ones you told me that would fit. Meanwhile I went and looked myself in the book and figured out which ones I really needed and took them to the counter. I told her these the right ones. "No they aren't, ill look it up so you wont bother coming up here again" is what she said. she looked it up grabbed them walked to the aisle and looked up by part num instead of model num, no big deal, but she kept insisting they were not correct. after she realize I did grab the correct ones she stay quiet. Its not hard to look up a part num on the computer, I do this for a living, im a parts manager myself, and she does not have the skills to be manager. She would not even bag customers products " here is a bag, bagged that while I cash you out" she said that to two customers while I was there. Read moreAfter waiting in line for 10 mins, I was told by Saul he could come and assist me once he help get the line down. I patiently waited for him to do so before returning in to the store. I was asked by the Manager On Duty (Grey Shirt) Robert, how could he help? I explained I was waiting to get assistance outside, he then stated “ Give me just a second!” I returned to my vehicle and waiting again. Robert begin cleaning windows, which is understandable when it’s closer to closing time. I return to the store and stood in line until Saul finished with the customer. Saul apologized for the wait, meanwhile Robert is spraying down the counter tops two hours before closing with customers in the store needing assistance. Then proceeded to stated “ He was going to shut down the register and headed to the back!” Overall Saul was a very hardworking young man and he made sure to put the customers first!
