We got here and saw multiple ladies of the evening in the parking lot seemingly waiting on their “dates”. As soon as we walked in the lobby smelled like weed. The guy behind the desk seemed bothered and annoyed by us checking in, but did so fairly quickly. After we checked in and went through the second door the smell of weed smoke was even stronger, which was ironic because there was a sign in the hallway that said “No smoking in public areas”. When we had booked the hotel it said the whole hotel was nonsmoking, so that surprised us. We went into our room and at first that still smelled clean, but eventually the smell of weed crept into our room too. It was overpowering and we thought about leaving but by this point it was 1am. The counters had burn marks and were missing chunks of laminate. There was a hole someone had punched in the bathroom door that we guess was to get out because the door handle was broken and took several minutes of messing with it to get out of the bathroom. The stove top was dirty. There were what looked like boogers on the wall. The mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. We left to get dinner and when we came back even more scantily clad women were standing in the parking lot, one even directly in front of the front door. There were no dishes or cooking utensils so that you could use the kitchen, but they would rent them to you for $35 per day according to the sign at the front desk.

Yes, that is a roach that. The check in process was a bit odd because I went to go check into the hotel around 1130 but they said that the room wouldn't be available until 130. If you weren't going to clean anything then I don't see why it took so long.. Through out the whole hotel on my floor especially was a smell that thankfully didn't come in the room. But someone burned something and smoked a cig right after or during idk they both were making an appearance that stayed way past check out. The towels and the sheets had some kind of fiber on it that would literally crawl into my skin and hair and itch.. There was an old tshirts package on top of the shelf of the closet... I think we know the ending verdict.. Now I will say this... The front desk associate DID ask me if I wanted to do a walk through before receiving the keys and I declined because I was tired and didn't wanna do it... I'm not complaining I'm just saying... I don't need to do a walk through if the person who's job was to do the walk through did the walk through correctly ya understand what I'm saying?.

They do what they do.... And don't. Like they do have beds.... They don't have regular turn down service. They adhere whole heartedly to "turn down.... For what?" you do get internet here, you don't have good internet here. They purposely throttle it and charge way to much and limit it to a max 11mbs for "premium service" you do have a key card for your room, you don't get to use it half the time cause something keeps wiping the magnet strip coding and they claim it's your cell phone. They do have 3 stars, they don't get to 5 ever.... But they down the road from Cap Ds so..... There are perks 😁

There were so many issues that I’m just going to do this chronologically, because I don’t know how else to group these.|This is an “extended stay” hotel, but the website allowed me to book for only 1 night. When I got there, they told me I couldn’t stay unless I signed a document stating I’d be there 30 days or more, but promised there’d be no issues if I checked out the next morning.|The elevator was broken.|A sign said there was housekeeping only once per week.|When I clicked on the light in the room, I saw the cockroaches scatter. In several electrical outlets, I saw antennae or arms poking out. When I opened a drawer, they scattered again. I didn’t open any other drawers after that. There were dead cockroaches under the bed.|The floor was absolutely filthy. Getting into the (stained) white sheets, all sorts of black stuff came off my feet. You could feel the dirt/dust when just standing there as well, I kept wanting to wipe my feet.|There were no blankets, only sheets.|There was long red hair in the sheets, and short black hair in the towels.|Pillowcases and towels had large stains on them, in quite a variety of colors.|The bathroom was covered with stains, all over the floor, toilet, shower, and sink.|No shampoo or soap. Mold around the shower.|My room had a small kitchenette. The stove and fridge seemed clean, but the microwave was completely brown, barely any white at all.|No TV.|The fire alarm beeped periodically.|I got into bed. Now, I don’t expect hotels to be soundproof, especially to the hallway. That’s just part of staying someplace. But the clientele here was a problem. With the noise, I found it somewhat tough to get to sleep. I was woken up at 2AM by pounding on my door, and a guy yelling a girl’s name. He pounded on the door repeatedly and wrestled with the door handle, until at some point I guess he realized my room wasn’t the one he was looking for.|He went across the hall and did the same thing to that door. Eventually, the woman inside started screaming back at him to get the f- out of there. This proceeded for about 45 minutes, including her screaming for some of us to help get him the f- out of there, and eventually the cops showed up and took the guy away.|The next morning, I packed up and took a quick walk outside before leaving. When I returned, my room key didn’t work. The front desk helped, fortunately. On my way back up the stairwell, a man passed me walking two small dogs. A few minutes later, when I walked down the same stairs with my bags, there was dog poop in the stairwell.|In all honestly, I bet there’s more that I’m forgetting. There was just so much wrong with this place. But like I said in the title, just pay a couple extra dollars to stay anywhere else. It’s worth it.|The AC worked well, and the water pressure was good. Surprised to say that, but there you go.|I've stayed in a ground floor hotel in Tijuana, and I can honestly say that I felt cleaner, safer, and more...

Dear upper management management staff,

To whom it may concern, my name is Executive Chef Sammy Fox and I am a business owner in town that has been displaced because of the waiting period for an apartment. I opened a restaurant around the corner from the hotel and it was extremely convenient for me as far as location.

I have stayed at The Woodspring Suites For three consecutive weeks.

During that time six of the days I didn’t have what I needed.

The issues include: No shower for three days in the first week. No linens for three days for the first week. No towels for three days for the first week.

I escalated the situation to Stephanie upon which I was comped two days. But had to pay for three without what I needed. Not fair. But I took it just to not make waves and show some respect.

My room is so filled with roaches. I have a video of them crawling in and out of the bed with me as I slept which is extremely traumatizing and it cost me to get more counseling sessions due to a childhood trauma involving roaches. I have receipts to prove this.

These are called damages and is what is required for a lawsuit. I do not want to sue this company but I feel like I am being taking advantage of and being treated in a substandard manner regarding the room I’m receiving.

The staff overall has been very kind and caring since the firing of Trey the former GM (who was horrible).

Will is the absolute best and I enjoy the energy he brings to this establishment he’s very smart and by far the best customer service I have seen. I have met Stephanie and she really knows what she’s doing and should advance far in this company. Nick is in the wrong position Nick should be upper management he is very smart and actually loves his job.

I have met Jared and he has been very professional, however he made me compelled to feel like requesting a refund or a comp for a room was on me (my fault). If Jared is tired of giving comps or hearing that we want one, then maybe he should take care of all of the issues in the rooms. If it frustrates him that we merely ask, then imagine how we feel actually going through it!! He gets to go home every day and not worry about us. We live here!

When I spoke to him on the phone regarding a balance of $106. Upon which I paid immediately before the phone call was over. He became extremely frustrated with me telling them all the things that are wrong in my room. There was no elevator voice or frustration it was a simple conversation.

The second week went fairly smooth besides the constant battle and roaches. I mean the roach problem is absolutely unacceptable for any public establishment not even the jail house has as many roaches as this hotel.

Here I am in my third week and once again for three days I have not had any lights in my room. I have not had a working shower. And the roaches infiltrated my food and ruined it. I would like a refund for my stay this is...
