An Unforgettable Disney Dream Experience
Our time aboard the Disney Dream was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped into the grand atrium, we felt transported into a world where every detail was carefully thought out. The ship itself is breathtaking—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and easy to navigate.
The stateroom was spacious, with clever storage and a split bathroom that made traveling with family much more convenient. Our stateroom host was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home.
Dining was a true highlight. The rotational dining system was brilliant, letting us enjoy three uniquely themed restaurants while keeping the same wonderful serving team who remembered our preferences after the first night. The food was consistently excellent—both the variety and the quality exceeded our expectations.
Entertainment was world-class. The Broadway-style shows like Beauty and the Beast and Disney’s Believe were spectacular, filled with top-tier talent, special effects, and of course, Disney magic. The deck parties, fireworks at sea, and character meet-and-greets made every day feel like a celebration.
For families, the kids’ clubs were extraordinary. Our child never wanted to leave the Oceaneer Club, where activities were creative, engaging, and perfectly supervised. Meanwhile, the adult-only areas like Serenity Bay at Castaway Cay and the Quiet Cove pool gave us time to relax and recharge.
Speaking of Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island was paradise. Pristine beaches, crystal-clear water, a delicious BBQ lunch, and plenty of activities made it one of the best parts of the trip.
What truly set the Disney Dream apart, though, was the crew. Every cast member we encountered radiated kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. They turned a great vacation into an unforgettable one.
The Disney Dream isn’t just a cruise—it’s an experience where families create lifelong memories together. If you’re looking for the perfect blend of luxury, entertainment, relaxation, and Disney...
Read moreThis is the absolutely worst port ever! It is so unorganized and chaotic from the moment you drive on the property! We cruised with carnival so The guards told us we had to go down and do a U-turn and go park in the garage. Then we get to the guards under The awning and they told us that was incorrect, that we needed to go down and park in the parking lot for terminal 4. Which was so crazy to get to, if you blink you miss it and you have to turn around and go back. Upon arriving in the parking lot there are signs that say drop off and parking. So naturally we park as we drove there. We were confused because there was no place to drop your luggage off to the porters. So we had to tote all of our luggage all the way to the entrance of the building. Then we get up there and they tell us we were supposed to drive around and have them take it out of our car. (There were no signs stating this). Once we gave our bags to the porters we had to stand in a huge line outside for 1.5 hours with our carryon luggage in 80 degree weather waiting to get inside the building only to stand inside for another 45 mins. Finally we get to the customs and they scan our boarding passes and they don’t scan. He had to go all the way outside and find a printer and re print them. After arriving inside the terminal, the lady checked our tickets to see where we needed to go and was very rude. I usually depart out of New Orleans and I’m used to such a smooth transition. You drive directly up into the garage and the porters greet you and take your luggage. You don’t have to wait outside in the heat, you go directly inside. It’s just more organized and had a better flow. I will not be traveling out of this port ever again. I don’t recommend using this port, try port Canaveral I hear...
Read moreOur most recent cruise on the Disney Magic sailed out of Port Everglades Terminal 4 the Disney Cruise Line terminal. It was extremely easy to get to the terminal from either the FLL airport or any of the local hotels. Please the entire port is secure at the check in you will need to show your personal documentation and boarding information. The terminal is very large and easy to find lots of parking. We took Disney ground transfers from a local hotel therefore we had to show all of your documentation prior to boarding our bus and again once we go inside. The drop off area has lots of great Disney items such as art work and the main port terminal is decorated Nemo under the water themed. The check in process was very easy and make sure you have everything ready. Again there is a Mickey head and ears you get to walk through to board the ship. There is a bathroom and vending machine in the waiting area with a few photo opportunities to enjoy. There is also a check in desk that you can get in line if needed. Lots of employees to answer any questions you have. The concierge area or lounge is upstairs and overlooks the terminal. They are first to board therefore it is a short walk from the lounge to the ship. If needed there is an elevator to take you up the flight especially if wheelchair or stroller. Leaving the port was even easier since we had passports and the port has facial recognition therefore just a photo and off we go. I highly recommend this port and cannot wait to sale out of it again. See you soon Disney...
